Weirdest Dream You've Ever Had?

Weirdest dream was recently enough was sort of about Pope Benedict, not that sort of dream, it was related to star wars and I recall it sort of being like the Da Vinci Code too.

To be honest that's the only dream I can actually think of clearly. I'm sure I've had odder ones.

I had a couple of lucid dreams, you know the ones which you can actually control. Normally involve flying around a lot, superman style. One of them involved a book where I could control what was on the pages. Before I'd turn the page I say to myself I want a picture of, for example, the tower of london. Sure enough when I'd turn the page there it would be, sometimes being sketched by an invisible pen as I watch.

As a matter of interest do any of you actually remember your dreams? I can only think of one or two that are very hazy. Only time I remember dreaming at all is when I manage to rack up about 12 hours asleep, which doesnt happen very often these days.

I do have one dream where I'm at the top of a mountain overlooking the sea, perfect reflection of the moonlight and then...nothing. It's odd because absolutely nothing occurs in the dream.

about 6 months ago i head a MAD dream. me and some friends were at 'a festival' or something, it was like a big square of grass with shops and stalls all around it.
i looked up and saw a plane coming in towards us, but as it got closer, it was a model plane, like the model aer lingus planes you see.
imedeatly after that crashed down beside us, a paper plane came sailing down the same way the model plane did.
i opened up the paper, and it was sorta like some clue, from the freemasons i instantly presumed.
one after another these model planes crashed down in the festival square, all instantly followed by a paper plane with a clue on it!
other people started to notice them, and started running around, fighting eachother to get the pieces of paper.
the paper airplane chasing had led me to what i can only describe as the entrance to the grassy area.
i picked up another paper plane from the ground, i looked back on the area.
BIGGER model planes started coming down, and exploding. i felt one explode near me, and felt ringing in my ears.


.....all of a sudden, i was walking down my road with the same friends(!) i looked up to my left, and saw
....flying thru the air....
a big test tube thing, made out of stained glass and a flip top. it was about 30cm long, but seemed huge in the air.
it veered down and crashed into the ground beside us, sticking into it. i walked over to the crazy test tube thingy and kicked the flip top open.
a big 'hiss' noise came out of it, like gas, poisonous i presumed. i looked at my friends and ran.


then i woke up :eek:

i just had to share that with you people as it is the wierdest and most memorable dream i ever had

not really, just bedazzlement that it instantly stuck in my head, i remember every little detail about the dream.
most are usually forgotten by the time you hit the bathroom!

I had a weird dream a few weeks back. I'll try and explain it:

I find myself in this strange town and I decide to go into this person's house which is open and as I open the door of one of the rooms, I see this man on the ground who is dying. I approach to help him not knowing what is wrong until I noticed the sunlight shining on his face and I realise the sunlight is what is killing him! Suddenly, I hear the sound of some little girl, presumably his daughter, about to come in so I lock the door and try to keep it closed so she can't see the dying man on the floor. She yells at me wanting to get in and it being a dream and all, she somehow manages to break through despite the fact I was doing my best to prevent her. As she rushes directly into the light, she vanishes! At this, I get scared and rush out of the house to find all the people from the town trying to get me. They can't come into the sunlight however as it harms them so I decide to stay away from the shadows and keep out in the open. The only thing I remember after that is me telling some girl that we need to stay out in the open and we drive down this open stretch of road, like you would see in Arizona or something. Then I remember something like an aeroplane or a helicopter chasing us!

I remember it was really late when I went to bed that night and sunlight was coming through my window before I fell asleep so I'm guessing that's the story behind that bizarre dream...

OK, I was on a train with my aunt and my cousins going through this really creepy frozen wasteland (though oddly not cold), and the train broke down right outside an abandoned amusement park. So everyone else got off, but I was scared in case the train started up again; eventually they talked me down, and of course as soon as I stepped off the train started moving again and they all made it back on without me (except for my aunt, who got crushed under the train). So I go to look around the amusement park, and this weird evil snowman with very pointy carrots for fingers starts chasing me and trying to kill me, and even thought I'm trying to run I can't and it's keeping up with me, and I reach a corner with two slides. And somehow I know that one of the slides will get me to safety and the other one will kill me, but I can hear the snowman coming so there's no time to see where they go and I jump into one of them, and as I'm sliding down I can see the snowman waiting for me at the bottom with his pointy carrots of death. That's when I woke up - like someone said upthread, your subconscious always gets you the hell out of there before the really bad stuff happens.
