    Did a test in outskirts of Kilcar, SW Donegal yesterday morning, using a DTV PCMCIA card from a friend who recently got one with a Lidl computer. No Freeview reception whatsoever. I had been secretly hoping that the local booster was also boosting the digital channels but seems not.

    Yeah, the deflectors are most likely channelised (rejecting everything except the freqs needed). Even if they didn't, the added signal noise, etc from the deflector probably wouldn't help the reception of DTT.

    Anyway, it was worth a try, and now we all know for definite that it's a no go!
