Champions League Final Tickets Robbed!!!

Well I am back now and what a night it was and the last few days have been. Thanks to everyone who posted anyway as you know I went over with no tickets and not getting me money back so on Monday 23rd I get a bit of good news AIB said they will refund me the price of me match tickets it will take about 30 days to get it so I was happy in a way but I still had no match tickets. It was great to be getting the refund but as you know I only want macth tickets.

I was still on a mission to get match tickets, The Star rang me a few times everday in the days leading up to the match trying to get me tickets. So on Tuesday evening I get a phone call from The Star saying somebody in Dublin rang them and will sell me two the tickets for €300 euro each I was going mad when I heard this so I frantickly rang me da with this persons number to try and buy them, as my da knew someone coming over to the match on the 25th so I had a way of getting the tickets out to me on time, so as I was waiting for news on the tickets it felt like ages and then me da rang me to say they had sold them on to someone else. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I thought for sure they must be mine ecspecially when your man contacted The Star about the tickets.

So anyway it is now Tuesday night and I was flying out to Istanbul the next morning with no sign of tickets but I was still going to head up anway. Then another bit of good news I met another Liverpool fan and his Girlfriend (had a great week with them) who were on the same trip as me and me mate. I knew him from a Liverpool website but had never met up with him before but anyway he gave me the good news about his mate from Dublin was coming over with two tickets spare tickets on the day of the match. He texted him and was keeping them so now I was happy but wanted to have the tickets in my hands. So anyway your man was charging €550 each for the tickets which I was willing to pay as AIB were giving me a refund.

SO the day of the match now we flew up checked into me hotel and headed straight out to Taskim Square where all the LFC were. It was great up there seeing so many red fans singing/dancing/drinking just having a great time. I knew your man with the tickets was arriving into Istanbul at 15:00 local time and he said he was getting transferred straight to the Stadium from the Airport so we agreed to meet there. 3 o'clock came and we were still In taskim square and no texts from your man about the tickets. To be honest I couldnt really enjoy me-self as I just wanted to have me match tickets in me hand so I knew for sure I was going to the match. So five o'clock came and still no text message. I was getting really nervous now.

So me and me mate Sean, Wezz and his G/Friend said we would head up the stadium as we heard it was miles out, this is between 5 and 6. Taxi driver in Istanbul are bloody crazy and I mean it they are pure maniacs we didn't we think were going to make it to the stadium alive. So after a long journey to the stadium and getting out and walking some of the way and trying to ring your man about tickets. I reached a point at the stadium were I could go no further without tickets and still no word from your man I was shtting me-self that I wouldnt get ticket.

So then a fella from Ireland came up to me and goes are you looking for spare tickets and I said I am waiting for someone to arrive with tickets and so I asked him out of interest how much is he selling them for and this was a true honest LFC fan fair play to them they said €150 each cost price so what do you think my reaction was. Why the f8ck should I stand here and wait for your man to arrive and pay €1100 and dont know if he sold them on or what as I had no contact so we snapped them up and texted your man and said I bought two tickets for €300 and sorry that I wont be taking his, he got back to me a while later and said no problem cos I didnt want to leave him stuck with his two tickets but anywany when I got the tickets It was brilliant and then thats when I turned into party mood and went mad thats for the first time I knew I was actually going to the Champions League Final. It was the most crazyiest night of my life such mixed emotions for the first half I was in total shock and couldnt believe what I had seen. The second half as everyone knows was brilliant, 3 goals in 6 minutes and I thought my head was going to explode it was brilliant.

So I will post up the pictures of the night later I just thought I would let you know what happend so it all worked out in the end I got two tickets for face value and am getting a refund for me other tickets and of course LIVERPOOL WON the Champions League it is an Unbelievable story but a true one and it shows what goes around comes around.
