Are Irish Women ugly?

Are Irish Women ugly? I know that this thread will get many an angry response especially from women but I honestly think that the huge majority of Irish women are unattractive especially compared to the likes of the Italians, Spanish(Latino in general), Japanese etc. etc. Am I alone on this issue? :confused:

Exactly. Purely on looks, Irish women are not the best. Some of them tend to redeem themselves with their personalities and humour.

As with the male community of Ireland, a lot more exercise, a better diet and less alcohol would work wonders for their looks.

Don't think you can make a judgement about the attactiveness or otherwise of the Irish compared to other countries, until you've actually lived in the other country you think all the fine things come from...

You can't make a sweeping statement like Japanese/French/whatever women are more beautiful if you've never spent time in the country to see what the average Joesephine looks like walkin to work or shopping etc...

Expect maybe, for Amazonia... They are all beautiful and wear fur bikinis, though i hear they are hostile to men... oh well

in a way he is right majority of irish ladys are ugly puglys and the reason is there is not that many of them in the country the bigger the population the more nice ladys u see but there is still alot of ugly ladys u dont see in england there is so many cracking loooking ladys but there is 60m people there in ireland most of the women could throw cows over there shoulders there more like heffers than women

Croatian women are unbelievably good looking.
You would rarely see a plain girl.

Two problems though...
1. they wouldn't touch a foreigner, let alone a pasty white irishman.
2. when they hit 30 they really let themselves go.

i got an email around the time of the nice treaty and on it was 2 ladys one was petra from croatia which was an absalute stunner the other was bernadette from roscommon which in simple words eats grass in a field and in big words at the bottom was WHO WOULD U CHOOSE class still makes me laugh when i think about it

I'm French, have lived in Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Paris for a short while and in the UK for 10 years, travelled all over Europe, States & Carribbean on hols over last 20 years and still south of 35, sooo... you lot clean the sh*t from your obviously-mk0.5'd eyeballs and get realizing sometime soon that Dublin has the highest ratio of hot-totty-per-square-foot this side of the Miss World contest, all types (blondes/brunettes/reds) considered...

But then again, you'd have to peel yoursleves from the Forum & go out sometimes to do that

I tend to find foreign women hotter, I think its an evolutionary thing, we're encouraged to 'diversify' our gene pool by mating with those who are genetically different, (or so goes my theory, plus foreign accents, RARR!)

As to the OP, some good, some bad, but when its warm they really come out!

Apart from Eastern Europe, with whom we are sort of even give or take, we have the best birds in Europe.

No we dont.
Irish women suffer from drinking too much.
They have lovely figures up to the age of 24 then the effects of too much drink begin to emerge.
They generally get bloated and get tank ass.
Its the same for the men though,its just a sad facet of Irish culture.
Once people get married thats the end of em ,they lose all self discipline and they get really fat.

Personally, I love Irish women. I've yet to meet a foreign woman with the same sense of humour as the typical Irish girl (well, maybe the scottish, but I've a thing for them). This is one of the many reasons I cringe every time I see some of the new breed of wannabe yanks running amok in this country (though to be honest, usually you hear them first).

Looks wise it depends what you go for. Remember, most of the women you see from different countries are on telly, in movies, in magazines etc. I'm sure that the vast majority of Irish women making appearances in these are absolute knockouts too.

One thing I will say is that Irish women definitely seem to have it too easy where us blokes are concerned. We've let them get used to having us do all the work/make all the moves thanks to the traditional 'nice catholic girls' being perceived badly if they did. Time to shrug off the chains of the past ladies, us blokes absolutely LOVE a woman who isn't prepared to make the first move.

I agree, its a bit of a redundant question cos its all down to personal preference, and someone already said "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", that can just as easily be adapted to "Bowleriness is in the eyes of the beholder" too.

I can see this one getting posts for a long long time

I believe that (as has been very rightly pointed out in the thread before), one should not generalize merrily without a tiny-incy-weeny little bit of experience on a subject...

Whilst I certainly don't profess looks or experience of Casanova proportions, I would like to think that my exposure to a fair few cultures/countries/ethnies over the past 20 years or so, some quite brief and other rather extensive (ask my English wife), would place me in a position to provide some background under the light of which I would like my opinion to be considered.

Petra wouldn't touch you though. They are quite xenophobic as a people (I'm generalising here bigtime), probably something to do with the Iron Curtin and being a holiday destination for rich communist party members before the it all came tumbling down in a bloody ethnic civil war.

But to get back on topic - some Irish girls (and guys) are stunners, but on average most are far from comparing to our european counterparts.

While there is an element of the grass is always greener, I would say that there can be a higher ratio of serious babes in other countries I've been in. I would put Ireland about average in that respect especially in the figure dept.

Maybe it's the greater opportunity of sun and greater showing of the body, but if you compare local women on a a beach in say Italy/Spain/Greece with local women on a beach in Ireland the gulf is pretty obvious. There are far more stodgy types here than abroad and the gulf gets bigger as they move into their 20's. If you are shopping with a woman abroad (Spain/France in my case)one thing I noticed was that was a higher ratio of the "larger" sized clothes over here.

(As for Irish men I would suggest that internationally Irish blokes are far more represented in popular culture as "sex symbols" than Irish women. Brosnan, farrell, rhys myers, neeson, murphy et al. Whereas our female population is fairly under represented(and the corrs don't count

).)

Actually I'd have to say that Dundalk is probably the best place in Ireland for the laydees. And trust me it took me a long time to admit it. I'm from Dundalk and I don't particularly like the place but after living in Dublin and moving back I have to say that it knocks the socks off everywhere else for good looking birds. (Think it's the northern influence - they have sooo many crackers up there)

Having said that. Eastern Europe and Iceland would probably be the best places for good looking women. Their figures probably play a strong part in that. Irish girls figures are mainly terrible IMO.

Having said that, walk around the main streets in Milan and Rome and try to keep your mouth closed. I actually think they must ban non-stunners from public places around the centres.

Anyways. I have never had a problem finding really good looking girls in Ireland so I'm happy enough. Iceland would be nice though...

Actually, Irish guys in general also have a good reputation abroad for having slightly mysterious, mischievous qualities that foreign women surrounded with boring macho idiots literally queue up for.

Loads of foreign women have told me that.
