Life resembling Art? Who reminds you of yourself?

What fictitional characters remind you of yourself? I think we all have movies/books/stories we love because we can really identify with the main character. For me it'd be the character of Rob in High Fidelity (both the book and the film), or Harry in Tony Parsons' "Man & Boy".

So, which characters do you think are quite similar to yourself?

I just finished reading 'The Catcher in the rye" the other day, and not only do I think it's one of the best novels ever written, but I also identify with the lead character Holden Caulfield. I think everyone does though.. hehe.

When I was in college I was alot like Max Fischer from Rushmore... and many people would remark upon this too... I hadn't seen the film at the time though... but when I did see it realised what they were getting at...

I have no idea who I'd pick these days.... I'll have to ask the people who talk about me behind my back.. ha

No they don't, only if they are about 14. I re-read that when I was in my 20s and I really just didn't feel the same as I did when I first read it. Many books are meant to make you feel like the lead character anway.

Well back in 87 in downtown Pigville there was a lot of anger and hatred between the locals and the authorities over the banning of sheeplove in the area.Sheeplove had been one of the most popular activities in the area for thousands of years so you could understand the fury amongst the locals.
All was set for a full blown pigville war until little Pighead saved the day(and probably hundreds of lives) by exploiting a loophole in the new ruling.And i'm proud to say that goatlove has proved just as popular as sheeplove ever was
So for preventing war and using peaceful methods to reach an agreement I compare myself to that fantastic fictional character from the brilliant 1982 film that went by the name of Gandhi(Copyright Trigger)

Well, I sure identified with it, and I'm 28. Disillusionment in the world perhaps? Maybe I'm just a cynic, like all those teens. :cool:

I've changed the title to make it more clear, it was fictitional characters I was talking about. Their personalities/characters than their looks.

I used to identify with good old Holden but I read it again recently and he actually really pisses me off!
I think I could be julia roberts in "My best friend's wedding" tbh :rolleyes:
