Nothing 100% yet Jonski m8,some lads aint convinced yet but i couldnt promise this event when we could need to do a changeover at a minutes notice.
Yeah we have had to add reserved slots to the server as the clan lads couldnt join with some of them waiting up to an hour for a slot.

Drapper it is a UO mod.

bloody german front mod is not worth it i have tried everything to get it to work,and still i get the same bloody message and then i hear its pants anyways so all that hassle for nothing :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
i will ask someone at darkside to get it goin for me otherwise i aint playing it

well i have been trying to get it working for days as i always make my own opinions but it seems to not want to play on my comp so i will just leave it.but its a UO game so it will prob still be more of a piss up game than serious game

Well , tbh I find it to be the best that can be made out of UO . I never particularly liked UO as I favour the foot soldier games and find the mechanised war only fun for a while . But GFM has made UO more like HOB ( still can't get ppl to play it on DOM ) . Also find it a small bit arcady though .

I really cant understand COD players moaning about UO.
Take out the tank maps which our server does or the tanks and leave the maps intact and it is COD with a few extra weapons and a sprint option.
Now please tell me how that is crap?
It is the same engine,same hitboxes same everything but yet you go on and on that UO is ****e.
Furthermore GFM is a top class mod ,reinstall COD and UO then install GFM and it will work.
Then make up your mind before you criticise it.

Ì played GFM and didn't like it. To easy to kill/get killed. No real skill involved...

That said, it is very well made! For those of you who like mods, it's a must! Enjoy it!

Well I have been moaning about UO a lot myself but I was on a server the other night and it had the tank maps out and it was great so Ive changed my mind on that. Though if this COD friendly match is going to be GFM count me out. Im not bothered to go install a mod that dosent work, life is just too short for that.

My reasons for disliking UO are
1) far too arcadey and tries to hard
2)too easy to kill and be killed (less skill)
3)after a year of waiting for it i was left bitter and dissappointed
4) servers are usually very laggy

Now as for GFM,i just dont think a full uninstall and reinstall of both games is really worth it. I would have to patch the games back to there latest versions.I have heard mixed reviews of this and i aint really pushed.If someone is running it at darkside i will give it a go and report back with my very own opinion.

Hello crazy CoDers!

I spoke to my team and they agreed to lend me our clan server for this "Friendly Irish Only War"!

The CoD server is a 20 man server and the TS is (we think) around 100 slot server.

Here's the CoD server IP if you want to go check your ping (server's in France - sorry, can't do better): 62.4.70.171:12203
I'll have to wait a bit before I can give the TS IP and Pass...

As you will see, there is no realism mod on this server, it is CoD at it's best (in my opinion).

No such a thing as nade cooking for example...

The server is configured for clan wars (basically 20 rounds with an auto-switch at half-time so no need to restart and change teams manually). It is basically configured to comply with most big tournaments (French National Cup, ClanBase, etc).

So now that we have access to a CoD server and a TS, when would you guys be willing to do this? Is a week night ok (next week should be ok)? Would you rather play at the week-end on friday evening?

i have done the complete uninstall and reinstall and have tried out the mod on a server running s and d on brecourt and i did enjoy it and would recommend it.

I just used the term "Irish only" because I'd like to see a big/strong CoD Community in Ireland!

It doesn't matter if you are Irish or not really...
If we start doing things together such as online wars and LAN parties the CoD Community will start coming together more and more! I'd like to see a CoD Team represent Ireland as a country on CB for example! But without a community behind it, it is never going to happen...

You haven't missed anything yet Loobz. This match should take place very soon but this week our clan server will not be free as we have 2 important matches to prepare, 1 for the French Cup and the other for the French Tournament...

I'm organising this friendly war as soon as these 2 matches are over and done with!
