Anyone interested in a friendly "Irish only" match?

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if anybody was interested in a friendly "Irish only" Search & Destroy match/war?

It would involve 2 teams (e.g. 6 vs 6 or more if possible - regardless of clan) playing on 2 maps (e.g. Dawnville & Carentan) over 40 rounds (20 rounds on each map - 10 rounds Axis, 10 rounds Allies). It would also be nice if everyone could connect to TeamSpeak on 2 different channels!

To organise this, we need a CoD server and a TeamSpeak server. We could use mine but the server is limited to 14 players (7 vs 7 max). Let me know if you're interested!

We can do it on a week day in the evening or at the week-end... I don't mind really, whenever it suits everyone!

I would be up for it if its late at night the only time i can play really like 11 or so that and i am off to new york on thurs so if it between thurs and tues so if its played then i am screwed

Would it be better if I just decide a date and time in the near future then?

Furthermore, anybody who would lke to participate will need:

- A good internet connection (no real point in playing if you have a ping of 100ms+)
- Call of Duty (patch 1.4) with PB enabled
- TeamSpeak RC2 and headset (= earphones/speakers & microphone)

This match will probably take place on my server which is located in France (add 20-30ms to your ping on UK servers) as nobody owning a UK server got in touch with me.

Furthermore, which maps would you want to play? (I'm a big fan of Dawnville, carentan and Harbor).

PS: When I say "no real point in playing if you have a ping of 100ms+" I'm not setting a ping limit. I'm just saying that in my opinion, CoD cannot be played online with a ping higher then 100ms. If you have a ping of 120ms and are used to playing with it, that's fine with me of course!

Sorry lads,

Between Christmas and getting my new connection I haven't had time to look into this friendly war amongst ourselves...

I have a 20 slot server located in France but ping's good (I'm at 50ms). Now if like Drapper you have a pathetic connection ( ) we could perhaps do this on crowl's server (btw, thanks a million for your help crowl!).

I think I'm just going to set a date and time and we'll see who turns up on the day. We can always do more in future if people miss the first one...

Now remember, anybody who would like to participate will need:

Firstly, happy Paddy's Day!

Now, could anyone who owns or has access to a server set a date & time for this friendly war to take place? Even if there's only 4 or 6 of us I'm sure we'll have fun! And if it turns out to be a success, we could have another one later with more people hopefully!

What do you guys think?

Very good idea! When Drapper is able to get us the server (and when my ping issue is resolved ) we'll go there to get extra players if we don't have enough from boards.ie!

I could host an Irish night but the only thing is apart from our Irish members we have lads from all over Europeand wouldnt be fair to lock the server on them.
If yas wish i can host you lads and get a definite list of our lads that will be on whatever night you lads want it.
That way its fair to all,i can lock the server and get yas sorted on team speak.
I can sort this any night yas want ,its a 22 man server btw.
If yas want it strictly Irish then ill just bring along our irish members to whatever server
