Hitting Girls, right or wrong?

With all the calls for equal rights and no discrimination, isn;t it odd that we're all brought up to not hit girls. As kids we're all told "Don;t hit girls, its bad" or some such line.

Personally, i'm from category 4, i'd never hit a girl. I might wrestle with them, but carefully. Am i one of the few "old-fashined" people in this respect, or am i among the majority?

I think it's ludacris that a girl can expect to hit a man while going crazy if she were to be hit back. I personally have never hit a girl but I'm sure I would at least throw a girl back with force if one was to attack me.

Like my mate says: If a girl wants to act like a man then she should be treated like one.

This is actually a very valid point. I believe it's totally because when things aren't going their way, they can expect to attack somebody but still not be touched.

If a man was to do the same he'd soon end up with a black eye.

Unfortunately i have to agree with that. If a man was to beat a women, its nearly guarenteed that he'll be facing some sort of court enforced penalties.

However, if i was to come here tomorrow, and post that i was just beaten black and blue by a girl, i can guarentee that most people would laugh, and probably say i was lying (maybe not in thoses exact words, but you'd think it).

Courts take the side of the women at least 9 out of 10 times. Ok, most of the time it is the man's fault, BUT, not always. If a man is attacked by a women with the intention to cause a lot of harm, it should be his right to beat the women back. But its doubtful the man would get away with it.

Thats equal rights for ya.

depends on the girl and the situation... if she is bigger than you and hit you .. then go for your life... alot of girls seem to think they are protected by the fact that they are a girl and that you "can't" hit them back...

a lady you shouldn't hit... but that is only because a lady would never hit you.

I suppose it is kinda like hitting a guy with his back turned, he is weaker than you... you wouldn't hit someone weaker than you would you?

If the situation warranted that someone needed to be hit, then I would hope that I would have sense enough to not discrimanate between male and female. After all, we're all human, and women kill, hurt, threaten and torture people just like men do. If I were to say that I would never hit a girl, and one came at me with a knife, while I have absolutely no training in self defence, I would at least try and stop her by:

a) running like a little bi7ch, and
b) hitting her if cornered.

Thankfully a situation like this has never come up, and I have (to my knowledge) never been in a serious fight of any kind.

The weaker sex thing by the way, is complete dog sh1t. Women are just as strong as men, if not stronger. Plus if anything they may just be the most dangerous sex, after all, with there feminine charms they can be deceitful liers, and us men, thinking with our libido iinstead of our brains, will fall for it, and do whatever it takes to please them.

The above is also just another stereotype, as men can be just as bad for deceiving people to get what they want, and women are just as bad for thinking with there sex drive instead of there brains when it comes to the attractive sex. I just used it to illustrate a point.

Were were just talking about this in work the other day. A girl in work said she saw this apparent domestic outside a club and this girl was actually ripping chunks of hair out of her boyfriends head! Everyone there was screaming at him to just f*cking hit the bitch but he wouldn't.

I'd say if someone/anyone was doing that to me, I'd f*cking smack them one, and they'd deserve it too. It's not like you're beating your wife cause she didn't have the dinner ready or anything!.

As for being brought up not to hit girls, another girl in work was saying that these girls in her park were picking on this guy (they're all around then years old) The poor young fella wouldn't hit back because he was always told that you never hit a girl. AFAIK eventually someone told him to just hit them and see how they like it.

i'd only hit girls when they hit me first and not since i was a little kid have i ever done that in a less than playful way
(once when i was about 10 this girl i severely hated was kicking me in the legs repeatedly and hurting me quite a lot. as best i recall i punched her very hard in the face...she spent the next few days showing everyone the inside of her lip and telling them i hit girls! nobody seemed to understand "she was attacking me!")

but anyway, i'd push my female friends playfully and maybe wrestle with my girlfriend/hit her lightly when she hits me but never anything serious...we are naturally stronger and its wrong to take advantage of that.
but when its not serious or in self defence i would have no problem hitting a girl and i think its just plain stupid to say "i'd never hit a girl ever and thats a horrible thing to do"

First off, John that is so sweet! Your female friends are lucky to have a guy like you around.
As far as the comments regarding equal rights should mean equal treatment with everything, I think you might be missing the point, gentleman. All most women want is the same chance as a man for a job and equal pay for it. That doesn't mean we have suddenly grown a ***** and want to be treated like one of the boys. Self defense is one thing, but to hit a woman like you would another man because you are angry is another thing entirely.

If she's fat and/or ugly, then she deserves it, there are no excuses for this behaviour. I'd be too busy makin love to my ho to bother with that sort of thing anyway. And sure aren't the streets dangerous enough anyway without having ugly women goin around.
