Well hopefully the weather stays good for ye for the weekend, the line up doesn't really do much for me although I would like to see Richard Thompson alright.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Travel safe everyone and have a ball

New camping carpark, I'd a 5 min walk to the car to tent, could have done it in 2 mins if I picked a nearer spot. Great, amazing improvement. Not in behind the bungalow anymore but further in. In behind the bungalow is for day trippers. The sun is fully shining but abit of wind.

    Any updates from people there?

Weather looks dry for tomorrow now, I was toying with a day trip with the kids. I don't think they'd have much fun if it's muddy underfoot, though

All good, no mud. Forecast is for fine evening and Sunday.

How was it this year? Is it still family friendly. Saw a lot of photos and videos on the socials and it looked like a big change this year with a young crowd on the sauce.

There were plenty of younger people there but it was definitely family heavy. I only saw one person that was out of his box and he must have been 50 if he was a day. I enjoyed it anyway. Few gripes such as lineup being weak, general signage and lighting not being great but the kids had a ball so thats all that matters really.

Maybe the socials were a bit misleading, but for me there was a really good vibe (again) this year. Like the poster above, its certainly family dominated, but still remains in a goldie locks zone that its not "for kids".....there is just lots to do for everyone.

We had a great time. Campsite parking was much improved (closer) and the extra stge (small dj tent) was a nice social zone for people with sharing bench tables.

I had my reservations about this year's line up, but the standard of every act i seen was very good.

Sexy Tadgh,Bog Bodies and Daithi highlights for me, oh and Hothouse Flowers.

Next years festival on 4-7th June (Bank Holiday again!)

ok I know if the bin is full it’s your responsibility to take care of your rubbish, but how many days since the festival ended and they still haven’t cleared the bins at the marina. And they’ve put these 2 in a spot down steps with no vehicular access so it’ll be fun getting them out of there.

Always find waste mgt 100% at the festival, spotless and great to see all the fundraising for local sport through the bagged returns. I did think a bin right outside each music tent was needed as bit of a trek to the middle area, especially if rushing move to next band. Is it definitely festival rubbish left at the marina?

Not surprised to see 2027 early birds sold out today, 2026 was unreal. Child's tickets 30e. Big jump from free to 2e to 10e to 30e for families with a few smallies. Especially as it's marketed as a family festival.

I went on to the website when i saw this and they are indeed showing as sold out but i clicked through on the early bird mail i got this morning and was able to buy a family camping ticket just now.

I just did the same, thro the email and all showing sold out. Might be just a marketing gimmick, who knows. But it's a great festival, improving every year imo.

They won't get away with a lineup like that another year though if money continues to be tight for people and the creep on the price of Childrens tickets.

I don't go for the lineup but found the 3 nights fabulous. Such a diverse mix. No one was extremely youthful/popular but all put on excellent shows tbf.

Yes the price increase is a jump. But I think the banning of chairs from 6pm will be worse. Very heavy handed security well before Imelda May, well b4 6pm moving them on, some very vulnerable and/or elderly out with extended family group suddenly all moved on. Even twice moved. Can see the Aldi tiny make up chairs becoming popular.
