Hi All, for those that have done the medical did they do a range of motion test ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9 Prisonguardrecruit

    No

    Height

    Weight

    Urine

    Blood pressure

    Eye sight

Thats about it unless your Bmi or Body fat is over a certain amount then you do a chester step test.

@Shaka46664 , Do you know your medical date yet? I’m Batch 2, still no invite. But honestly I’d like to stay in my current job till October anyway, so I’m just seeing how it goes.

    Hi all,

    Just found this thread.

I have my fitness test the 5th June, are there any rumours on a possible start date for a course and what the cut off date would be for people to be placed on that course

I.e fitness tests upto May will be the the next intake and June fitness test would be placed ready for the following intake or can someone who passes in June make the next college intake

next intake if successful on June 5th will be July 13th

People who had fitness 28th of April are going to start 13th of July so it probably be next intake after that

I think their gonna do a bigger intake as there mustn’t be one in June , because I’ve been told by them I’ll be starting 13th July all going well on 5th , might be different for others on that day ,

just home after the fitness test , was 16 in my group everyone passed , some people didn’t show up , started with taking height weight and age , push pull machine , grip strength , shield hold at 45 degrees , then brought in in 4s to do fire extinguisher carry and sprint , then back out and last was the 30x20m shuttles

Had mine aswell this morning . Was handy enough the 30x20 is the hard bit but stay at your pace and don't try to keep with others who are quicker and you will be fine .

Theres an intake on august 24th those there today will be in that
