Meant to add, frozen shoulder seems most prevalent with Type 1 diabetics and perimenopausal women (and god help you if you're both…). Seems to be caused by inflammation but surprise, surprise, little else is known about the exact mechanism.

No issues with the injection and blood sugars, although my DSN had warned me to be ready for it, I did however have what is known as a steroid flush which the doc giving the injection had not mentioned. Got the injection, went in no issue, waited outside for 15 minutes and sent on my way. Felt really warm on the walk back to the car, but presumed it was some sort of stress relief. Then started to struggle with breathing, not far off the start of a panic attack. Again, felt it was a sign of months of relief flooding in. It progressively got worse to where I couldn't walk, I couldn't talk, dizzy spells, overheated. Couldn't drive as I thought I had punched my ticket and didn't want my legacy to be me swerving off the road into someone, never had the wherewithal to text anyone. Just sat there waiting to go. eventually after 30 minutes had the ability to use my phone and I googled the symptoms, where I found steroid flush as the first dr google result. Took another 45 minutes before I had recovered enough to drive.

Jesus. Never heard of that either. Glad to see it seems to have passed quickly.

So back from Newcastle after another trip to collect 6 months of Noctura 400.

Scans showed my eyes have never been better.

So now I have been using this mask for 8 years. No more eye bleeds, no more laser, no more injections.

It cant be hocus pocus if it's being used in eye hospitals in the UK can it ???
