Ah for heaven's sake! Who'd do that? That would annoy me too. Are they early shift people who think they are being 'funny'?

A few days old, but try Guineys, I got some great 3-in-1 down the years. Granted it was womens' wear and that I had to dig.

    Also - DEBORK!

There's a little pony being tethered on some waste ground at the back of me. He has no shelter and little water. I just went around with a few apples. He's lovely.

    Will check his water later.

Am debating on maybe ringing DSPCA.

If it rains or a hot sun he has absolutely no shelter.

For some reason lots of car customs like Count Customs and shows like that have been showing up on my feed. Don't know why as I have no interest in cars. Besides that being annoying in itself, the annoying thing is that these guys are either wearing vests, sleeveless t-shirts and other tops sometimes with the whole side nearly missing. Now I understand they are in hot places like Las Vegas but sleeveless tops really look awful.

I've been seeing ads on Boards for what appear to be priest vestments!
I didn't see any really black socks but then I suppose I wouldn't see them would I.

Don't think they need shelter, horses in fields carry on regardless. If he's well fed he's probably happy enough. Dunno what the DSPCA do with hares, but dogs in pounds generally aren't long for this world if they aren't housed.

right now I’m looking at an advertisement on boards for a restaurant, in Marbella. Ok, I’ll just pop over for some food. 🤪

TA…. Whatever about stopping at red traffic lights and picking up a passenger, but this passenger about an hour ago starts opening the boot to put in their bag whilst the car is stopped in traffic at the lights.. ffs just throw the bag on the back seat, jump in quickly and be ready to go you absolute mutton head. Zero hurry from them either and of course they were the last car to get through the lights.

They just send these messages before heading off on their commute to Dublin. They're not trying to be funny, just a bit clueless. 🙄

My trivial annoyance for today might make me sound a bit mad. Were you ever haunted by a word? No? Well, I do Duolingo and one of the languages I'm doing at the moment is Polish. All weekend, one of the Polish words for 'pen' has been jumping into my head. Długopis. I wake up in the middle of the night and the first thing in my head is 'długopis'. I'm watching the telly and suddenly I think 'Długopis?'. It's not even a new word to me. I first saw it a few months ago. Długopis. (I hope that has purged it from my system.)

I suppose it's better than being haunted by numbers, which has also happed to me. I use 8 digit part numbers in work, and they sometimes reside in my head…😶

The dog knocked my phone off my lap onto the ground. Even though it's in a protective wallet like case, the thing fell face down with cover open, and there is a crack on the screen now. And it only fell a couple of feet.

    Still working, but annoying.

How long do you wait for someone (business) that says they need to check something and will phone you back in 20 minutes?

TA - That was an hour ago - so early "days" yet.

Wake me up when it's all over.

The amount of people who stand at the RTPI display instead of the actual bus stop and then look puzzled/annoyed/affronted when the bus pulls in 15 metres in front of or behind them. Particularly prevalent in busy spots like Leeson/Dawson/Westmoreland St.

Nice brisk walk twice around the park in the sun, few kids matches on but one TA was big groups of soccer moms commandeering every park bench near the pitches to sit wait and yap, they had obviously no interest in the matches or they’d have been up by the sidelines watching and supporting like the others. Feck any of us out exercising..needing or liking a rest might get a chance to take the weight off and sit down for a few.

Any American cop on Telly only getting one bite of sandwich or sip of coffee when phone/radio rings and they feck everything in the bin. The person is already dead, they’ll wait another 10 minutes until you finish eating.

    1. A perennial: people who stand in front of (and block) a seat on the bus instead of just sitting in it. I will never, ever understand that "logic".
    2. People drinking Monster at this hour of the morning 🤢

Workplace bullies who think they can verbally abuse other workers, just because some other workers can't/won't stand up for themselves.

Perhaps not trivial, but very, very annoying.

Having to work on a lovely sunny morning.

If I could go back 30+ years I'd have a few words of advice for myself.

I bought sliced bread on Monday, which was dated until 9th but doesn't feel as 'fresh' as it should.
It was a bank holiday weekend, I wonder if there were kept in a fridge and then put out on shelf or something.
So seems like I will need to buy more bread before the weekend :(
