That Trump thread is a joke (IMHO)

I was banned the other day for telling the truth about the depraved beliefs that drive Trump's supporters like you but I didn't see you sticking up for my free speech, you were calling for me to be banned if I remember rightly.

This is the riveting content that you are refusing to post on the thread?

So Trump's moments of getting things spectacularly wrong is just an act is it?

Trump gave a race baiting speech about immigrants eating pets. Designed to incite racial hatred. It was false and without foundation.

If Trump didnt know it was false he is an idiot. If he knew it was lies and put it out there to race bait that's just as bad.

Racist or poorly educated seems a good description of those who lapped it up.

Of course his corrupt cronies dont care as long as they get their cut.

And what this has to do with the moderation of the thread is anyone's guess.

Seems like the thread has been hijacked far from its original purpose and is now being used by posters banned from the CA thread to discuss Trump and not its moderation.

Earlier on the thread you used the phrase "tear their own skin off with indignation" about other posters.

You seem to be diagnosing and speaking for yourself, if that is actually how you feel about the thread yet therefore inexplicably continue to post in it and even in a thread about it.

It is nothing for mods to be bothering themselves about. Mods are there to enforce the forum charter and site rules not engage in pop psychology of posters.

Any poster is free to follow or unfollow as they see fit.

That might just be how some people 'vent' or release. It is not something for you or I or mods to judge. And really it is neither here nor there as far as the thread moderation should be concerned. Each to their own and absolutely not something for mods to be trying to second guess.

This is not the case. I was banned for 6 months the other day for "being a dick".

I refered to a poster as helen lovejoy after they asked me did they need to spell something out to me with crayons.

The poster "being a dick" to me continues to post freely. Its back to the usual one way modding we had pre bankruptcy scare.

It is indeed a complete echo chamber. Which is fine if thats what posters want. But lets at least be honest about that.

No culmination. Just a new mod on a power trip.

And im not pro Trump by any stretch. I said i get a laugh out of Trumps madness at times and it was responded to by saying i laugh at children being bombed.

Which of course i dont. I laugh at things like calling Ted Cruz wife a dog etc.

Anyway we saw similar before bankruptcy.

The mods very much mod based off their own povs. Creating an echo chamber. And bankrupting the site.

Memes and "TDS" I dont think you'd bring balance to a discussion.

I have not been warned in any thread since the bankruptcy removing of over bearing moderation. Culmination was not mentioned as a reason for my 6 months.

Mod has not responded to my DMs.

My Helen lovejoy comment was made in response to another poster calling my post the dumbest thing theyd ever read. Crayon post was posted very shortly after.

You've read the interactions based off your response. So you know exactly what was said. You can choose to believe its balanced modding but non biased people know thats bull.

Neither poster was banned but i was for calling someone helen lovejoy in response to their rediculous bombing children comment.

Ive seen plenty of people challenging bans to no avail. I dont really care enough to challenge it.

I posted in here because someone quoted the post bankruptcy modding rules like they were still in operation but theyre clearly not.

Its back to one sided echo chamber modding. Which is fine if thats what the masses on here want.

While it would still be pre bankruptcy levels of modding ive no issue with being warned and or banned if culmination is still there.

My problem is the one sided modding. Both posters "where being dicks' but only i was warned/banned.

And thats because the mod deemed the other guys as the "good guys" because they align more with their views.

That is why you see an echo chamber. And again as long as thats what people are happy to have im fine with that.

But anyone who doesnt think theyre in an echo chamber is deluded. Which is the reason I posted in this thread to begin with.

Heavy modding is skewing it unnecessarily further though imo. Its the slippiest of roads believing censorship is ok because you think youve got the moral high ground.

That's the second time you've given a false account of what happened on the thread.
I'm surprised that you thought you could be so casual with the facts of an incident that just happened. The posts are still on the first page of your post history.
If you were making claims about something that happened months ago, your false account might have gone unchallenged.

Am I surprised you have racked up so many warnings on CA to have a 6 month ban.
Not at all.

I do think a 6 month ban for one post after a long period back to previous sanction is a bit harsh, as I have previously commented, but other posters from different sides of the debate have fallen foul of that. It is not evidence of bias.
