    Dreadful stuff

No saving the year now, someone laughed earlier this week whem i was saying it could end like Fannings reign very much looking like it now

€150 for a season ticket and this is what we're shown at home games

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,972 ✭✭✭decies

normally I’d say we need 3/4 goals but realistically Tipp would still out point us even if we did that .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9 kasporov

Tipp have had harder training sessions, our shooting has been woeful again. Work rate non existent in the first half, 2nd all over the field. Like a home game for Tipperary, have 3/4's of the support. Hard to see a way back.

Drawing level the All Ireland champs is no defeat thank **** we are still in it

We have hope, we are as good as last years all Ireland champions. as i keep saying luck is where preparation meets opportunity .

Strange given they all trained under cahill and queally learned from him

if we could play for 50 mins plus we would win an all Ireland . We could sneak out of Munster or finish last hopefully have 2 performances and results in us , having a bye week last week of championship looking more of a curse .

Hard to know what to say after that.

Stephen Bennett must be one of the best players to ever play for Waterford.

Barron & O'Neill had some second half, among many others.

2 points off being out of munster on paper… less than a goal , limerick who dominated munster for a decade dead last. this is fantastic

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,489 ✭✭✭seananigans

I was commiserating before the second half, but top turn around an 11 point deficit is the behaviour of champions

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,382 ✭✭✭✭KevIRL

Score 7-44 in two games and win none of them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,489 ✭✭✭seananigans

To draw the All ireland champs is hardly a defeat , as per clare, we owe them a good doing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 118 ✭✭cbwfd

Ah give over with the scapegoating. Plenty fellas made mistakes in the last few mins that almost cost us. Only fashionable to go after Aussie of course.

Sean Mackey changed the game. Too many passengers on the team again. Shane Bennett played all winter at wing back and starts at wing forward today. Madness.
Darragh Lyons unlucky to be taken off at half time I thought another 3 or 4 could have gone before him. We have Fagan and Leavey in the half backline doing man marking jobs but very little hurling is coming out of them at all. We’re getting killed by runners coming off from the breaking ball. I’d drop Kenny and Fagan, play Calum Lyons at wing back alongside TDB and Mark Fitz.
Dessie needs to stand up and show some leadership against Cork because he’s going through the motions too much imo.

Have to call things honestly as well.

He made a few bad decisions in his cameo.
