March finished up a good month, 788 kwh generated, well over double the February total. Still in my first year with solar so don't have a previous March to compare it to but I'm very happy with this one. My highest generation day was the 20th at 49.7 kwh.

5% higher than last year's March, trying to remember was it last year that was a freakishly good March that was never to be repeated?

Last years March was good - but not quite in the epic standing of March 23. However, May 25 was alltime legend for virtually everyone.

Quite a few. In my case an AlphaESS Smile5 v3. It did not have this as a supported user facing capability until quite recently. It could be done via modbus, but support and warranty are important to me. Makes for a better return and improves the case for Pinergy -- for me.

I assume you've realized that it's cheaper (mostly) to heat the water on a timer at 3am to 4am (€0.10/kwh?) and then export whatever solar generation you have at €0.18/kwh (?) rather than use that solar energy to heat the tank.

One caveat is if you use use hot water mostly in the evenings, then the hot water you heat at 3am might have cooled sufficiently in 12-18 hrs to make it much to a muchness. But worth thinking about whats right for you anyway.
