Zgemma H7s Guide

Is anyone who streams from the box having any issues? Trying to narrow down if its a box issue or broadband issue.

Cant get into it using openwebif.

Also was streaming to a firestick using dreamplayer premium but it stopped working and now isn't seeing the ip address of the box. Updated the ip address and no change.

On the network test box is connected to Internet.

On openvix 6.8.003 with simple 1080.

You mean like this ? Its my movies folder on one of my boxes , I can drag and drop to it.

Its just a case of going into network settings and enabling the network. Please note that these days you cannot enable the network shares unless you have set up a root password. You wont get a message to that effect , it just wont work. So if you haven't already , setup a root password.

Also note: its format is .ts or transport stream , I personally have no idea what other formats if any play from this folder , others I'm sure are more knowledgeable in this area.

But I can drag and drop .ts files to this folder and they work just fine.

cathy47, you have a tricky one and its possible the firestick has updated and does not like dreamplayer but I know the h7s can be a bugger within a network. You might have updated the 7S to new version etc.

What you have to do is make sure 7s is connecting to internet so I would check network settings do a test then go to plugins and see if they download. That proves network. Now remove lan cable from 7S and re-connect check network, are you using dhcp or static, you may have to go back to dhcp. Also you may have to delete 7s from router, and power off 7s at rear and re boot router. Its a pain but if you can see what fixes it, make a note for next time.

You could also try chnaging the dns on 7s to google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 green etc. I use these on the 7s.

I just tried it on a 4kmax stick and very smooth.

Hi All

How can I get my Zgemma H7 remote to control my TV volume? All HDMI-CEC settings are enabled on the box and on my Philips TV. I also have a 4K player looped through a Sony Quad amp sound system in order to get proper Dolby Atmos using the TVs Earc hdmi port. So the normal hdmi on the TV is going straight to the Zgemma box.

Now, point to note I have in the past had the box looped through the Sony Quad box and all volume and other control functions work perfectly. But as I said in order to get Dolby Atmos from my player I had to swap back to the Earc port. Is there something I can do to get the best of both worlds?

Sometimes even a restart or box off and on fixes any bugs stored as my H7S remote stopped working and after it worked again.
