Having an issue with sky last night and I cant ring them until Monday. Ffs you'd think a company like that would be able to pick up the phone 7 days.

Supposed to be going for a run and it's blowing a gale out. I HATE running when it's windy, because it doesn't seem to matter how many corners you turn, the wind is still somehow blowing directly in your face the entire time.

Similar experience on the bike. It's blowing north so I'll have a tailwind on the way back...no.

I need to go around the shops for a few bits for dinner but appear to have been superglued to the couch somehow...

Also, the OK Google lady put something we asked her to add to the shopping list on it as "Hotels" and neither Mr. DH nor I have the fcuking foggiest what that might have been.

I thought that might have been it initially but she's never mangled that before and MDH came home with paper towels so presumably they were also on the list.

    Maybe it's a sign you are due a " dirty " weekend away ?

To clarify, I just meant to weekend away

Simple answer is to buy a new one, guaranteed that the old one will appear as soon as you're finished.

TA: Its bloody cold outside today, temp is probably OK but its the wind chill factor that is making it feel really cold. Been getting on fine with work in the garden and I really didn't want an excuse to slack off but looks like I've got one anyway :-(

Wake me up when it's all over.

Was at a show in the Gaiety yesterday and as we were leaving walking down the stairs there are posters from previous shows on the walls. There was one for Riverdance- it's been on there every summer for many years, think the poster was for 2006.

A young guy behind me on the stairs asks his companion has she heard of Riverdance? She thought he was joking and was like ? Riverdance? What, yes of course...have YOU heard of it? He only heard about it recently!! Then she asked did he know who Michael Flatley, you know who Michael Flatley is right? And he said NO.

My TA is that I did not turn around to see this newborn baby with the adult voice allowed out without his parents 😆

    Definitely not!

Today's TA: two sick dogs in the house. Our big rug didn't make it.

I didn't think it was as cold as yesterday. I have a small garden centre of plants to put in, gifts and indulgences. I thought I might go and do a few, but put my nose out and said, no, its 'orrible.

Edit, thought this was the gardening thread, but the weather is a TA anyway.

Were you playing Monopoly? If not, buy the Gresham. It's nice and central.

I can't remember my TAs. There are many of them but they are all very trivial, to the extent that I can't remember them when I come to post.

An easy one that just cam to mind it is that I've been looking at the only analogue clock I own all morning, but I haven't changed its time. Even though it's 2 metres away from me…

Yet another delivery sitting in limbo..ordered last Tuesday, ALL three items were in stock, yet approaching day 6 and absolutely no movement… or updates.. If you have something in stock that I’ve ordered and paid for here is how it works, put it in packaging, give it to the courier. If there is an anomaly, communicating is important… An email, “Dear Mr S.. in relation to order ZZ76543B”…..but no, I’m chasing businesses again, kindly just do your job, which is simply…put in a box, print shipping label and give box to courier…or if an issue, COMMUNICATE !

    RiverDance? I've heard of RiverRock.

Seriously though, I can't stand those ads and that Muppet. I prefer RiverPop myself.

The other weekend I found a box with a few pairs of jersey pants that I wear for work, I assume there were summers ones.

I left them where they were as I didn't have the energy to sort them(Tks to next-door), then I found some heavier ones so I put them in a box or bag and labelled them.

Cant find them now and I have only one light pair left, I'll freeze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! took the house apart still cant find them.

So many ta's but the one atm is that as soon as I spend money I dont have to replace them they will turn up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It must be midterm or something, teacher next door appears to be off and if they are this means:

Days' long substance parties, girly screaming, door slamming, weird smells all day.

They seem to be gone for the day now but I already have a headache and its going to get worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't look at my feet then. If know a cure let me know. Doctor won't prescribe the tablets anymore (side effects) and the nail varnish stuff really doesn't work - tried for nearly 2 years.

Wake me up when it's all over.
