When you turn up at the Return Machine with your 6 bags of empty bottles only to find a queue and both machines are out of order….

Mother in hospital, tests results back, so far nothing to worry about. 🤞

this morning my Dads sister rings at 8.10am, questions about a standard health procedure that he had and she now needs. So nothing that couldn’t wait till say 10am. My poor Dad says given the situation his heart jumped hearing the phone ring so early, he was still asleep. 🫤. Man’s wife in hospital, just leave him alone. Auld one genuinely now needs a babysitter not a big brother.

Why can't some people make a proper cup of tea? - even when i say "a small drop of milk and half a teaspoon of sugar" it's usually too milky or too sweet for my liking….

For a tea drinking nation Ireland really should learn how to make a decent cuppa.

Far too many cups made by waving a tea bag in the general direction of the cup.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Went out for a walk earlier, before I left it was slightly drizzly and decided not to bring an umbrella, I'll be grand I thought. Big mistake!

On the way back I got soaked to the bone in an almighty downpour. Runners, sock, everything were saturated. The water was pooling immediately on the ground it was that heavy. I was literally peeling the clothes off when I got home, and leaving a trail of water throughout the house.

So weak it's leaning against the cup, as my dad says.

    Sequence of events:
    1. Colleague is an a$$hat who won't turn his camera on in Teams meetings.

    2. Manager decides we have to have in-person meetings because of aforementioned a$$hat.

    3. A$$hat colleague complains that we have to have in-person meetings.

    4. Only thing manager can do is suggest a different day for the in-person meetings to suit the a$$hat. Everyone except for him is in on a Monday. He's in on a Wednesday, so we have the meetings on a Wednesday.

    5. Despite this not suiting anyone, we press on. I now have to travel into the office and park every second Wednesday for the meeting. The office will not cover the parking charges (of course).

    6. Meeting on the 11th March ran over by 20 minutes. I stupidly didn't put enough on my parking ticket and have now picked up a PCN from the car park for overstaying by 7 minutes. So I'm £60 out of pocket because of this absolute man-child and his fcuking tantrums.

out myself walking about 7.30…a weird evening, an eeriness outside, no traffic or other pedestrians, odd for this area at this time. Got 300 meters up the road and the quiet calmness and my walk destroyed by a barrage of real violent wind gusts, arctic parka on but when wind is literally blowing you in different directions, nah, no fun in that, about turn —> home, feet up and a cold drink…According to a midday forecast the weather was supposed to pass by us about 7.30.. even now it’s still battering anything or anyone out in it. 40 minutes later, 😵

Likewise with the kettle…why isn't it making noises? The button is not pressed.

None of that is trivial! That would drive me insane. There always seems to be one in every office that gets enabled and pandered to like that.

Worse still, think you put kettle on, leave room to do something else, come back thinking kettle is done, make cold tea!

    Team meeting ongoing:
Colleague 1 - gives 2 minute update on their work

Colleague 2 - gives 2 minute update on their work

Colleague 3 - has been talking about her work for 25 minutes now and counting…………

I don't think she understands what a Team Meeting is.

Every sodding pack of epsom salts left on the shelf in Mr Price is scented. Can ye not take a hint Mr Price?

Every traffic decision I made was the wrong one, went left when should have gone right, got stuck in traffic. Went off main road to try to avoid traffic, hello JCB.

TA1 - bloke behind me taking picture of my car, because I refused to let him cut across into my lane at a roundabout. He had gone around in the 3rd , less-populated lane, closest to the roundabout, even though he wanted to turn off left at the same junction that I did.

I got out of my car to ask him to stop taking photo, when, TA2, the people behind in the next car said that it was terrible that I hadn't let him in!!
