    hi all,

    Just wondering has anyone come across a cheaper alternative with the same macros as fage yoghurt?
    It’s good stuff but very expensive

    Skyr has slightly more protein than Fage, but the texture is a little thicke and has a slightly higher fat %..

    From a price point perspective, Skyr seems to always be on offer in one of the multiples, the small tubs on a 2 for €4 in one of them or the larger tub itself is good value (relatively) at €2.99.

    Neither are “cheap” though compared to “regular” yogurt.

    Yeah the Fage 0% 950g pot is €7.79 in Tesco but they have the 450g pot on offer for €3.50 with club card.
    So 900g €7

    Skyr 450g is 2 for €4 so 900g for €4

    Big price difference a €3 saving!

    Fage 0% macros per 100g:

    P= 10.3g C= 3.0g F= 0g

    Skyr macros per 100g:

    P= 9.5g C= 3.6g F=<0.5g

    So equivalent macros really.

    Good shout @Peter Dragon thanks

    How does Brooklea 0% Fat Authentic Greek from Aldi measure up.

    It states it's 58 calories and 10.4g protein per 100g. Scored well recently on a taste test from some UK paper compared to Fage and Skyr. I have it most mormnings and it's nice, not sure of the other values listed above.

    The Lidl one came last.

    Oh nice one good find!
    €1.99 for 500g

    Per 100g:

    P=10.4g C= 3.9g F= 0g
