As well we know, the masses decide what's good. But I think the reference was more to the look/size rather than a direct comparison. You know journalists these days, any game where you ride on horseback in a realistic looking world is compared to RDR2. They're either really young or use AI and can't think before their time. RDR2 world was amazing in fairness, just a pain to get around. CD will fix this by giving you a fcuking dragon and mech! Yurt!

Do you have information on the game that we don't know about? This is the most wait and see game that's been around in a while. It might work out but I wouldnt have classified this as a sure thing.

And then there was your previous form with getting Mindseye very wrong when everyone else saw that as a stinker a mile off.

Nope, just pure hope. And yes, bad track record of this type of thing, Mindseye the main one but also slightly burnt with Lost Soul Aside too. But I was never known for making good decisions, why start now. I did take a chance on Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, and that was a winner! Same with Immortals of Aveum, another game most people didn't like but I loved.

But it does look like the kind of game I'd like. I already know i like things most people don't. Plus, physical release, I'll lose €20/30 at most. Kinda makes it feel like the older days, buying without knowing all about it. Hard to do nowadays. Makes it exciting, even if it doesn't work out. Worst case, trade it in and buy Carmageddon Rogue Shift or Legacy of Kain Defiance Remastered. Time will be well spent regardless.

PS5 Pro version of Crimson Desert is meant to run great anyway according to DF.

DF recieved a PS5 Pro with the game already installed so they weren't able to test base PS5/Series versions.

Bit strange, will push 90 based on Pro/PC versions. Seems like they are trying to drive hype before the base versions reviews drop.

I have the most amount of games released, i have the least amount expecting and projected to come dead last. My next game is a baseball game i have no idea about and anything i read online, the players say it's worse than usual but I'm hoping critics give it a generic 83 sports game score 😩

My lock is gta 6 and even it is delayed, i don't get anything from, write off of a year.

I paid $12 to bring At Fate's End into my cold, lifeless embrace. It's not confirmed to release this year, but that's what the drops are for I suppose.

The LEGO Batman lock was a strange choice, i can see that getting 90+. I think the league is expecting wolverine to be being 90+but i dunno don't know,i don't think it will break 90.

In summary, don't mind the projected list, it's a load of bollox. From/ someone projected to come last.

Just the leaked vids alone, looks cool but fairly generic action fighting game, obviously footage is a very early release but i can't see it being Batman Arkham games for comic game standard.

As the last person to counterpick, there weren't many obvious options yet. The LEGO games typically have a bit of a score ceiling in the mid 70s-early 80s, so really just picked what seemed like the most likely to not hit the 90s.

How does counter picks work again? Say Lego Batman gets 90, does JU get -20 points? I'd LEGO Batman gets delayed to 27 (i know it won't, hypothetical), does JU get any positives?

Yep, if a counterpick scores over 70, you get minus points (-5 if it was 75, -15 if it was 85 etc..). If it scores below 70 (rare), you get plus points. If it doesn't release, you get 0 points - which is typically what you want.
