What does this appreciate someone more have to do with anything? A couple of posters have said it now.

No offence intended to Connacht but anyone around the main 23 at Leinster would walk into the Connacht team. A good chunk automatically become their best player, and more appreciated? I guess? I don’t understand what that word has to do with anything in relation to rugby to be honest.

Frawley is not a top class 10. Might become Connachts best 10 because their current 10s are all average, but there would be a higher return if he played at 12 and 15 possibly consistently in my opinion.

It refers to the first post I responded to. It said Leinster will miss him, and I said Connacht will appreciate him more than leinster will miss him.

    It's not that controversial.

Sometimes I think if you had a referendum on whether the sky is blue, it would be touch and go.

How'd that work out? He's a very good 12, and decent enough 15. Stop trying to force him into a role he's not suited for. Paddy Wallace all over again

I mean, when did he start at 10 against England in the last 6 months?

    Are you counting "A" games?

I said Ireland XV which was the name of the team, should I call it something it's not?

    Honestly, why should I?

All I said was that Farrell clearly has faith in him as he was the starting 10 in both. And he has been the utility back covering 10 today and last week. Maybe he'll be a starting out half at Connacht, maybe he'll be a utility back, who knows. My personal opinion is that he'd probably only move to Connacht for game time and there's a good chance that's at ten.

Jesus this place is fűcking miserable at times. You say you hope (and think) a Leinster player might go onto bigger and better things if he gets more game time and the misery fücks are out in force hopping all over it.

He is almost certainly moving to Connacht to play more at 10.

I just think they will find out why he doesn’t play 10 for Leinster.

Give him a few weeks and we'll be playing like drains again - probably by the time the quarters or semi come around. They should have enough "muscle memory" from the Ireland camp to beat Edinburgh (hopefully) in the last 16.

I think what was most refreshing though was how much the players seemed to be enjoying playing. We should have Porter and Keenan back shortly too

Interestingly it was Lancaster who really made the active shift of getting Frawley away from 10 and more into 12/15 role.

I don't think he ever rated him as a 10. There were multiple interviews with Stu where he made references to Leinsters 10 options and he never mentioned Frawley in that conversation.

He might well have changed his tune. Or perhaps he never saw Frawley primarily as a 10 because there were better options than him but he still wanted to use him.

I think Frawley is a better 10 than Ioane and Carty in any case.

Excellent 10s are not easy to come by. Especially if you're never going to be in a realistic position to sign a super star.

So Frawley is likely Connachts best option.

It was an honest question. Nothing to do with any referendum. I don't see how appreciating someone more has an effect on their rugby ability. Many of the Leinster squad would be "appreciated" more by Connacht Rugby and Connacht fans. I still don't think it makes any difference to the rugby ability of anybody.

It's been really encouraging to see a number of Leinster players perform better as the Six Nations progressed. Last year we saw players peak early and decline as the tournament progressed.

I was very encouraged by the performance of McCarthy and Doris especially. If Leinster are to win anything this season, we'll need our two world class forwards to be at the best. The former was fairly poor against France, was benched, but then quickly re-established himself as a starter with some very physical performances.

Doris has been brilliant since Round 2. I'm very glad to see how well he's carrying again. Over the last few seasons I've felt that he was morphing his game to be reminiscent of Heaslip. An 8 who sacrificed his hard carrying game in order to be more of an all rounder, hitting rucks, slowing the ball down and tackling everything. Over the last few games we've seen Doris do all that, but also make some huge carries, breaking the line and also making lots of metres post being tackled. His performance against Scotland yesterday was one of his best ever.

Very well said Clegg I did think the same if they can maintain this level of performance we are in a very good place

I think he is better than Ioane and Carty now. I think Carty at his peak was better.

    Well said.

After France I thought this 6 nations would be a disaster and destroy whatever confidence some of the Leinster lads had. Complete opposite now with pretty much all of them coming back in form, bar Prendergast and Byrne, who was unlucky to get no minutes due to that concussion.

Glasgow get hit with similar enough numbers to Leinster for international duty so Saturday night will be interesting in terms of who is available for selection, and which 2nd string can come out on top.

It's been a great tournament for Osborne and TOB also. I know most of us think the formers best position is at centre. But it was so important that, in the absence of Keenan, we developed someone who could potentially play fullback at test level. Osborne has shown that he can. He's the full package, I think. Solid distributor, great kicker, line runner and is a powerful carrier.

TOB struggled against France, but when he got his chance against England from the bench he excelled and got better as the tournament progressed. Speed kills at test level and he has that in buckets. We've now found two test level options for the back three. Both scored four tries a piece. Great return.

I think it is great that Osborne can play 15. I just think he is going to be behind Keenan still there whereas the 12 jersey is basically there for the taking in the short term.

Up to now when they've both started it's been TOB on the right wing and Kenny switching to the left wing, but now that Kenny's more established and TOB has looked good playing 11 for Ireland I wonder if the other way round would be better. They've both looked good in both positions, but which way round is optimal?

If playing Bordeaux, TOB right wing. He's the better defender. I dont think it particularly matters in attack.

Sounds like Keenan and Porter could be available for selection this weekend.

Yeah, pick your error, 400 or 500 errors. Basically means "I'm absolutely incapable of designing tech that is capable of delivering streamable content despite how ridiculously easy it is to do".
