Some people do find her entertaining, she's selling out places etc, etc, but, Jesus, I do wonder where the actual humour is whenever I hear Joanne McNally. I don't want to find her annoying and unfunny - but she makes it so difficult.

I realise I'm probably the latest grumpy fella to post that, after about a dozen from the same demographic have said the same thing... But I'd love to know from someone who likes her: What's the appeal?

same here. Just don’t get it.

It reminds me of mrs browns boys. Just don’t see the humour at all. Over my head.

Andy Irvine's version of 'A Blacksmith Courted Me' with Planxty cannot be surpassed imo. This version while very polished was a bit too 'clever' for my liking. Not too keen on the flamenco style hand clapping!

This Irish speaking panel. Hard to pick the most irritating but the one in the middle wins for that Adidas tracksuit bottoms with high heels outfit.

Cantillon completely oblivious here as she describes how people in France were shushing her and her co-presenter, acting as if it's gas craic as opposed to realizing how head wrecking that behaviour is. She's like the loudmouth on the nightclub bus who needs to be heard at all times.

Exactly, once you hear Andy Irvine version you can't really take on a new version. Probably they should have picked a traditional tune that wasn't so associated with planxty or famous to experiment with.

It's a hard choice. The one on the right with the Paris story is pretty bad.

Gabriel Byrne…thanks Patrick, I was trying to remember what similar dose was on last year dressed like a hobo and spouting a load of self indulgent rubbish.

Ended up with the late late show tonight for a little while.
    it’s actually quite sad.

Do people see Joanne McNally advertised and say “ Oh brilliant Joanne McNally is back in the 3 Arena. Must get on now and book tickets and a hotel”.
the audience were whooping and hollering at a talentless extremely annoying moron shouting nonsense at the top of her voice.
can anyone explain what’s going on?
