I tried Bushmills 12 at Christmas. I got it for €45 up north. It wasn't great. The 10 is superior.

I did that a year or two ago (Thin Lizzy whisky). Obviously I wish them all well but I wont be buying it again.

@antimatterx Think The Red Breast is probably my favourite whiskey there. But as always pretty lousy discount (I remember when the RRP was about €45. The Johns Lane does get great reviews and a decent discount of €20. Are these the best whiskies noted above. And JL best value ?

Did you check fancy Dunnes near the Bandon Road roundabout - usually they have the best whiskey selection in my experience

Great prices, even better than Sainsbury's and Tesco in north at the moment.

Villa Maria is £11.25 and the Campo Viejo is £9.50 with Nectar card less 25% when you buy 6 bottles in Sainsbury's.
