I tried Bushmills 12 at Christmas. I got it for €45 up north. It wasn't great. The 10 is superior.
I did that a year or two ago (Thin Lizzy whisky). Obviously I wish them all well but I wont be buying it again.

@antimatterx Think The Red Breast is probably my favourite whiskey there. But as always pretty lousy discount (I remember when the RRP was about €45. The Johns Lane does get great reviews and a decent discount of €20. Are these the best whiskies noted above. And JL best value ?
John's Lane at 50 is a steal.

Can confirm that Paddy Shares is on sale in supervalu for €25. I'm going to buy a bottle tomorrow, didn't want to drink tonight.
No sign of John's lane in any dunnes I checked in Cork.

Did you check fancy Dunnes near the Bandon Road roundabout - usually they have the best whiskey selection in my experience
Dunnes in City Square in Waterford is definitely not top end and they always have John's Lane.
The John's Lane offer in Dunnes has expired anyway, as of yesterday. The current price is €65

Great prices, even better than Sainsbury's and Tesco in north at the moment.
Villa Maria is £11.25 and the Campo Viejo is £9.50 with Nectar card less 25% when you buy 6 bottles in Sainsbury's.
