Oh, I'm definitely changing provider after this experience. The customer care person had the cheek to try and get me into another contract.

Sometimes I rang and renewed my contract at a better rate but I'm sure, considering the length of time I've been with Eir, that there were times where my contract just rolled over at the same monthly price.

Eir cannot be trusted. 3 years ago I switched my BB and landline over to them and lost the number I had for over 30 years. It took the best part of 2 weeks to get the number back again. I didn't even get an apology from them.

Vodafone..the worst company ever to deal with. I closed my account and moved to Digiweb for my fiber broadband almost two years ago……………to this day I am still receiving zero value invoices from Voda.

You're lucky. I received regular texts about my old account with them. My account is in credit j.e. they owe me money. Do you think i can get it back?

I wouldnt be holding my breath, it seems to be all down to what agent you get, one told me that I wouldnt get a refund for money taken on the day I cancelled, spoke to another guy couple of days later and money was back in my account same day.

Not sure if this is the right place for this but anyone had any experience of dealing with Seatsnet.com? I bought two tickets from them online for a tennis event in early April. Money has been paid over, but heard absolutely nothing from them since. Sent three emails to them requesting delivery of tickets - haven't even got a reply. Tried their phone number (in Dubai!!) but it rings out. Online reviews paint them in a pretty poor light.

    Penneys/Primark.

Was in there last week for the first time in ages as there's none local to me.

When I was paying I was asked if I wanted a bag. I took a paper one (which had ripped by the time I got out the door). It's only when I got home I realised I had been charged 15c for it.

It just happened that there was a survey on the back of the receipt which I filled in and mentioned I hadn't been told there would be a charge for the bag.

Within a couple of hours I got an email from CS saying they were looking into my issue. I got another couple during the week saying they were still following it up.

Today I got another one apologising that I wasn't happy with the service and explaining they have introduced the charge for ecological reasons etc. and added a €5 gift card for the inconvenience.

Really happy with the service as I wasn't really even complaining, just pointing out that they should have told me there was a charge for the bag.
