no not heard anything back yet the guys taking the hair sample did say to me this will take two weeks and with the bank holiday i suppose might delay it more hoping we hear soon even by end of this week start of next would be great

For those who got the call, could you do a breakdown of your timeline please? Like when you did interview, submitted clearance, fitness, medical and then offer. Thanks

so applied in july

did online tests in august

results in september

interviewed in october

submitted clearance in november

got medical in december but with christmas couldn’t do until jan

did fitness end of jan

and then got the call last week to start 9th of march

that’ was my experience from batch one hope it helps

I’m in batch 3 doesn’t look like anything happening soon for me 🤯. Only sent clearance last week

my timeline was the same as above, except I’m only doing my medical and vetting this week!

I was batch 1 for interviews. I suppose it’s not possible to get a call for 9th of March at this point? They’d hardly do fitness test that quick.

Heard from someone who’s working as a PO in PSEC last week that batch 2 applications usually move forward on order of merit once batch 2 begin their training. Fingers crossed! Long wait!

no I haven’t but I have 0 strength even for the seated bench pull & press 😭😭😭

Does anybody know from previous recruitment campaigns if the intakes going forward are running every 12 weeks. E.g intake 1 9th March. Intake 2 June 1st. Etc . Im in batch 3 and trying to plan holidays etc

Have you been called for fitness in March?

As bgen1342 mentioned, get the grip strength tool in Decathlon. If you're not in a gym, start now.

All the fitness tests are online, grab that and get a programme going. You can do this.

Did you reach out to the prison service? Might be safer to holiday before your fitness test, roughly two months after fitness you're called.

They were very vague and said that as im batch 3 it would be a good while before I hear anything. My security clearance is still underway. How many people are starting on March 9th does anyone know
