At the end of the day the courier company are to blame and the coal merchant, to a degree, were probably unaware of the service quality. The kicker here is, I sent a polite and cordial letter to the coal merchant and got zero response…nada. So, it looks like the service quality of the merchant is on par with the courier company.

I won't seek money back, a simple apology would have sufficed (we are talking about a ton delivery of coal to a domestic residence, not a parcel/package - even Amazon and An Post can give a heads up as have other previous coal merchants I've ordered from). No apology or response in any form so, I will not be sending any more of my monies, no matter how good of a deal it is, to Smokeless Coal Express.

Just received a delivery of 1 ton pallet of eco stove ovoids from coal warehouse ordered Monday afternoon it's here today excellent service

Just thought I'd comment on ovoids I got from Coal Online Direct. Bagged as Eco Glow. I had them delivered in September and stored in a garage. Started using them after xmas when my older stock ran out. Every bag I open is damp and I'm losing about 1kg per 20kg bag. The coal is ok when it gets going but costing me more than I antisipated. I emailed the company but no responce. Just a heads up for anyone looking to buy coal

Yeah our Eco Glow Red bags always comes wet in the bags thats from smoklesscoalexpress. Hardly makes a difference to us apart from being a bit dirty to handle.

If you want them to do something about it suggest to them if they don't respond to you a good option is to have a word with UK Trading Standards. If weights are under up definitely have a word with TS. I put one seller straight that way. Nothing in it for me but they stopped advertising one thing on their website and supplying another quick enough.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Have anyone any experience of the difference between the green and Red bags of the ECO Glow and ECO Stove, Ive had two pallets of the red in the past where as my mother and brother have gone back for a second order of the green bags again.

Post earlier stated the red bags seemed to give out more heat.

Hi you could try ring CB Fuels. To see if they can help you.

they use there own wagon and driver to make all their delivery. Unlike other company who use a 3rd party pallet delivery company.

Hi, I’m really pleased to hear that your delivery arrived safely.

It would have been even better if they had given you a discount for paying over the phone instead of through their website!

Did they give you a reason for not offering a discount?

How is the ECO stove and the red bag fuel burning on your stove?

    Thanks!

I burn the red bag fuel. It burns well and produces low ash. I haven't had the green bag so can't say if its worth the price difference.

I ordered a ton of the red eco stove from smokeless coal direct. The coal came on time on a dry day. I stored it in my garage immediately. The bags are very wet and are difficult to light. They don’t burn as hot as the last ton I ordered either. Disappointed as I recommended them to others on here a few months back,

Have the same problem with coal I ordered from Coal online. Emailed them a number of times but no responce

Hey, would anyone have any recommendations for just getting a few bags of coal around Central/South Dublin/North Wicklow please? Bulk buying 1t etc isn't an option. I had a look back a few months worth of posts but just see mention of bulk buys, would appreciate any info!

    so it begins

    Dear Valued Customer,

We wanted to give you a quick update regarding current market conditions. Due to the recent and sudden increases in global energy prices linked to the ongoing situation involving Iran, there has been some upward pressure on raw material and supply chain costs across many industries.

At Easyglow.ie, we are monitoring the situation very closely. We are in active discussions with our suppliers and are doing everything we can to absorb or minimise any potential price increases for our customers.

At present, we have limited stock secured at current rates. If you have been considering making a purchase in the near future, it may be worthwhile doing so sooner rather than later to avoid any possible changes.

We also want to remind you that we offer the option to spread the cost of your purchase using Klarna, making it easier to budget while securing today’s prices.

As always, we truly appreciate your continued support and loyalty. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, we’re always happy to help.
