I asked the question here last week, and one of the poster gave me a break down of what was in each coal, so I put it to the test last week. I’d some green bags and a standard bag of ovoids .

lit both of them different days, but the same way with everything the same. The Green bags, burnt longer, and had a better heat out of them compared to the standard ovoids I’d got.

So it pays the pay the extra few bob in my opinion to get the Green bags. I ordered a tone of them from Wrays over the weekend.

I’ve heard it’s good and handy if you only want a few bags but I’m sure it will be cheaper to buy a ton somewhere

    The internet isn’t for everyone

I have 10 bags of columbian but im thinking lately it damages side bricks very quickly on my stove . Also have open fire so fine for that so i might mix it with the smokeless for stove ..
