Gibbs was ridiculous last night. Lions offensive line held up very well.

Edit to add, Aubrey is ridiculous too. Hardly any back lift on a field goal from 53 I think. And he made one from 63 which had loads left on it when it crossed the uprights. He's going to kick one from 70.

    Snow game in Buffalo :)

Well they've done it again. Washington rush back their potential franchise QB from injury - this time in a meaningless game for them - and he reinjures the same part of his body that led to the injury that they rushed him back from.

Burrow kills the Bengals season with 2 throws. Great game from him otherwise

Burrow played so well up until shiteing the togs.

Every week Puka Nacua does something ridiculous. He has two great catches already today, he had the best I've ever seen last week.

As I said Nacua, 136 yards and a td in the first half. He's just ridiculous.

He's breaking records, he has the most yardage through 40 games in NFL history.

When I said I wanted the Cowboys to have a season like the Chiefs, this wasn't what I had in mind.....

As funny as the Chiefs loss was overall, this really got me…

Shedeur Sanders seems to have had a hell of a game yesterday; 350+ yards passing, 3TD and a rushing TD himself. A few turnovers and looks like he still has a few things to work on, like holding onto the ball too long and taking a somewhat needless sack, but still, he's been impressing more and more since that first game where he came on halfway through.

Browns lost largely due to an awful decision to take Sanders out when going for 2-pts to tie the game and they ended up really ballsing the attempt.

Can you imagine what Sanders could do in a decent team?

I was adamant that he was the best QB in this class even after he dropped so far in the draft.

Philip Rivers (yes, that one who retired 5 years ago) to work out with the Colts tomorrow.

That's crazy, he's over 40. Iirc he finished with the Colts and had a good season.

Chargers win a defensive battle. Last night and tonight were two very enjoyable defensive games.

Well that was worth staying up for. Bench jalen hurts at this point would be my move. Also, AJ Brown can shut up now about not getting targets. He got them and did nothing with them. This is giving 2023 vibes again.

Just about to start the game replay, but already know the final score as well as Jalen Hurts throwing an interception, which was fumbled by the Chargers, which was picked up by Hurts, which he then fumbled back to the Chargers all in the same play. Obviously, Hurts had a sh*t game.

I wouldn't bench him though. Firstly, I'd still take him over Tanner McKee, but secondly there are so many things wrong on offensive and have been wrong for most of the season that while this loss might be primarily on Hurts, benching Hurts is not going to drastically change that.

This isn't our year, just like 2023 wasn't. We'll pick up a few wins in our last few games (remaining games are against the Raiders, the Bills, and two against Commanders) and get demolished in the playoffs. The problems the Eagles have aren't going to be fixed in that time imo.

Bears offense pissing away opportunities but our defense is well on top so we've gotten away with it so far. But shadeur Sanders, while very inconsistent so far on a mistake prone offense, looks capable of doing anything and has made some spectacular plays here. We shouldn't have left them in this game and I'm worried they might take the opportunity we are giving them

First time dipping in here for a while, bit the chiefs v chargers and bills v patriots makes me remember why I loved red zone.

.... And hell, go myles garret.... Demolishing g the season sack record.... He has to do it now.

I don't think the Chiefs are very good.... It took 8 losses to realise it. Well their WR are not for sure.

Harsh to only give him the half sack for the last one, it was really all his. He's a bad man though.

Red Zone a terrific watch this time of the year.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,744 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Yep, I think his teammate got a few fingers on Williams... It was 95 percent Garrett.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,744 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

I'm not sure who will win, bit the Patriots have only gone up in my estimation.... We've heard all abojt their weak schedule, bit they've put it to the Bills today.... Again, not sure who will win, but they are their equals for sure.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,744 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

I feel like the Bears are starting g to believe in themselves too! I can only hope the Broncos can do something similar later..... I need it, they (might) need it, but it would put a lot of the naysayers in their place as well.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,902 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

With the caveat that it’s against an awful raiders team, it was nice to stop the losing streak. It doesn’t change my major issues with the offense and how bad it is but a win is a win.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,744 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

Well I'm singing from the, "there's no easy wins in the NFL" songbook this year, so demolish any team is a worthy win.... It's all about getting to the playoffs healthy for the Eagles now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,744 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

The way the Bills have played since going 21 down, you can't really argue with going for it on 4th and 5.

Buffalo have really been playing with fire these past 2 weeks.

It's been all Bills since midway through the 2nd quarter. Patriots got our ass handed to us. Defense can't get a stop and Offense can't move the ball.
