That's illegal. Ingredients etc have to be shown in English, even if it's only on an attached sticker.

It's not like Lidl to mess up that kind of thing do maybe it fell off. Bring back the packaging.

I pointed out similar on something Polish (I think) in SuperValu and they removed all that batch straight away as someone forgot to add the stickers.

I did not like this kale, with a simple green label of Fresh Vegetables.

It was already chopped, with lots of thick stems that have to be picked out and removed, a lot of them browning.

I'll stick to the kale from Richard's Farm.

Yes I stopped buying the kale in Lidl for the same reason. I'd rather buy from a local farm shop where I know I'm getting a good quality product

This is a Non recommendation, Takeaway cheese feast pizza with very little cheese.

On recommended Pizza's from Lidl this is excellent. Probably best frozen pizza I've tried.

Dough actually does have flavour. One teen doesn't normally eat her crusts and polishes these off!

It's the same pizza in both cartons and I've seen both in store at the same time.

The whole surface is covered in cheese? What do you expect?

What is it with the Irish desire for half a kg of cheese on a pizza? 🤷

Sorry Mr. Lidl 😳 it's called a "cheese feast" which I fancied and it clearly isn't that going by the lack of cheese in the centre of the pizza. (28% cheese in total) I didn't mean to offend anyone 👌

You can barely see the tomato base of the pizza there's that much cheese on it.

Go to Italy and see the amount of cheese they put on, usually a few pieces of mozzarella as shown below in Naples.

Good news - the Freshona Coconut Milk is back in my local Lidl. Bought a tin even though I have 2 tins of Amoy at home

    1000025831.jpg

Bad news though...the coconut content has changed😪 Now at 81%, it used to be in the 90s. For reference, the Amoy coconut extract content is 82%.

The only coconut milk worth buying is Chaokoh from the asian markets. I have never found anything close.

What the hell are ye doing with all the coconut milk?

Lidl frozen pizzas have gone to the dogs, theres no taste left on them, zero. Its all cardboard now. Italpizza are the only decent frozen ones, number one brand in Italy so at least there will be some minimum standard. You can get them in Tesco.

Only proper crust Ive ever had on a frozen pizza.

Agree that most frozen pizzas are like cardboard now, and that Lidl Bufala pizza posted above is crap as well, sorry.

Dr Oetker Suprema salami was the best one I've had in a while.

Ffs. Had a curry with one last week for the first time since they returned, and it wasn’t as good as I remembered - I thought it was the curry paste.

I should have known to check; when a product disappears like that, it always comes back with inferior ingredients somewhere.

Wouldn’t mind, but I grabbed three or four when I saw them!

The mince pies in the bakery section in a red paper bag are delicious. Lovely pastry, plenty of juicy filling. They'd pass for homemade in my book anyway.

Got a bag of these on the back of this post - they're grand, pastry a bit thick (but nice and short) and the filling is a bit gloopy or something. But nice enough.

What I did try for the first time, and was MOST impressed with, were the focaccia sandwich rolls - light as a feather and really tasty. I'll definitely be going back for them again!

My daughter loves those rolls too. She uses them for her lunch. They really are very nice

For white wine drinkers: The Sauvignon Blanc Gran Reserva 2022 from their Deluxe wine range is excellent. It is rated '90'. It is on offer at €7.99 at the moment. It is from Chile but is actually better than the New Zealand Marlboroughs.

The sticky toffee pudding is savage.

I ate it all in one go and felt nauseous afterwards.

Irish butter is more profitable sold to yanks across the pond!

The one in the rectangle shape, not the individual one! (although you can use it as individual as you did 😁)

These are my favourite TV snack right now. Others may think so too, as they don't stay on the store shelves for long. They have the texture, flavour and size just right IMO.

the flavoured sauerkrauts (in the fridge beside houmous) are very nice imo

same brand as the very good kimchi from cork

Custard creams have gone to sh1t everywhere even McVites or any other expensive ones but Lidl has chocolate orange ones now, as in chocolate biscuit bit and orange filling, they're damn nice.
