Saw this article on a car which was towed away around a corner and clamped- with a young child in it - as the BMW was causing an obstruction. The vibe of the article below is “poor child” how awful.

    https://archive.is/00jse

My reaction was “self entitled BMW owner” - blocks road and leaves child in car unattended.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

It's ' funny ' that mouses are the 1st thing I see on the thread . I discovered yesterday where mine lives . A biscuit drawer . I've been flattened this year and haven't gutted out my cupboards live normal .

.There will be no mouse friendly traps . I hope to hear a snap then doing some spackeling

Yeah sort of. The reason I'd sling that muck at Nigel is that I'm quite sure he'd do the same if he felt it would benefit him.

There is no honour in politics if there is **** being dug up you can be sure there will be someone to fling it.

Wake me up when it's all over.

That Good Morning Britain competition where, usually Andy (think the guy was Bobby) advertises the prize in a gorgeous location … Iceland this morning. Serious envy

Steamrolled by a migrane yesterday afternoon. My brain feels extra squishy today.

Protein! What is it with bloody Protein. Even the Hummus in the super market is now HIGH PROTEIN. Of course it is and it always was, what do you expect of a food that is made with chickpeas which are around 20% Protein?

Agreed, it's the new buzzword. I wonder, do these people that forgo carbohydrates and fats in favour of a very high protein diet realise what too high a protein intake can do to your kidneys?

Pea starch being added into lots of things that didn't used to have it… on a minor level, affecting its texture, for people with allergies potentially more serious consequences:

In the last five years foods as varied as sausages, frozen chips, ice-cream, sliced ham and bread have started to include a new ingredient: pea protein. Peas are now everywhere – and for people like me, with an allergy to legumes, it’s a hidden nightmare…
My last brush with mortality came in April, at a branch of Starbucks. Finding myself running early for a meeting, I took the chance to pop in for my usual: a latte and a ham-and-cheese croissant. As I waited for the barista to pour my coffee, I took a nibble of the pastry. Within a minute, my lower lip was swollen and blistering. I checked the ingredients list. Though I’d ordered this very same item about once a month for years, I knew what was coming: this croissant now contained peas.

We are a family of allergy/sensitivity people and automatically read labels. Bit hopeless when they change the recipe and don't put a big announcement on the front of the packet though. I wasn't aware of the pea thing, but we are all good with legumes (just variously not gluten, dairy, eggs, chocolate, mushrooms, red wine, and all the fodmap stuff, spread between 5 of us). Cooking meals is great fun.

Fodmap, been there what a pain more than a TA not having any onions in your food except of course the green bits from spring onions.

Only one of the 5 is fodmap, all 5 gluten, 3 dairy, 1 eggs, 3 chocolate, 1 mushrooms, 2 red wine, so we just cook all-free for everyone. Its really not that big a deal once you get used to it. I use celery instead of onions.

Why is it that when there is only barber on and just one person ahead of me in the queue, that customer has to get a meticulous, pain-stakingly precise haircut /trim that takes an age?

I have had a long ass day in work, is it too much to ask for a half-bald fella getting a quick round around with the razor no?

Stupid cow in a 241 BMW, rolling slowly through a red light in Bishopstown so that she could get out ahead of me, where two lanes merge outside Dunnes. Ironically, she only ended up right in front of me, all the way off to where I turned off.

Annoyingly I couldn't leave my full beams on, as that would have blinded all the poor people heading into the city. :(

On my tricep. It's a different style than I'm used to - lots of shading and dotwork, so that's probably why.
