he was actually a nice fella I worked there. Place was a joke though overall, the fella who ran the sheep side of the business was a slave driver don’t want to say his name. All staff in the beef could join a union sheep section wherent allowed. They also had less breaks absolute disgrace it was wasn’t surprised 2people died after I left

How long ago did you work in it, was it the Kerry man or the mad man with the glasses in the sheep end of it.

yeah I think he was a Kerry man. Sf is his initials. Don’t remember a guy with the glasses. I worked there about 10years ago, wasn’t a rough place to work. Didn’t even let us go home in the storm ophelia, but when the roof. And off everyone left. They lost a lot of money that day due to there greed when the power went out everything on the lines had to sit there was all dumped.

Met a lad today he would finish a fair few but would not have a load every week. He dropped a load Wednesday and told to ring Friday for the coming week price. He was getting flat price for AA and HE. He was told from Monday everything on the grid 7.6 base. He thinks the they must ve confident about numbers

They are getting enough cattle to cover the contracts they have. Very much a take it or leave it attitude from them. I wouldn't be waiting for them to get scare if I had cattle fit.
