Ah bless, as you say every set of ads from a person can tell a story. And undoubtedly it's a very sad story of what or who might have been in this scenario. Sad.

It goes to show there's far more to life than TAs, & being slightly irked by them, not that posters don't realise this already, despite posting on here, but sometimes a post like yours reminds us of the more important things in life. Thoughts with the ad poster, I hope she's now doing well regardless....

That must be Nigel with the brie...

I was behind a car today with both brake lights not working. One of them was held on by tape.

Only for they had one of those small lights in the back window people would be straight into the back of them.

    Yay.

Down with the over-the-top Halloween decorations that are invariably obstructive when we postmen are trying to deliver letters, and the themed Ring doorbell replies to boot.

All environmentally friendly and locally sourced of course.

€3.40 for a can of Kilkenny in my local Dunnes. Absolutely disgusting price for what is essentially Smithwicks with Nitrogen bubbles instead of CO2 bubbles.

Leaving Dunnes, I’m at a zebra crossing where one car doesn’t bother stopping for me and just drives straight through, much to my annoyance. The next car stops but as I’m walking across the scaldy f**ker driving the car revs his engine loudly in an attempt to try intimidate me as I’m crossing. I just looked at him and gave him the finger. Luckily for me, him and his equally scummy mates didn’t hop out of the car to give me a kicking 🥲

heading to the shop, wonder if the same gimp behind the till will start to forensically examine the euro notes like he did last time… I handed the cûnt two fivers to pay for about 8 euros worth of stuff. And left standing two minutes waiting for my change as he couldn’t get the ultraviolet thing to work. I’ll get ultra violent if he starts that again….

Who forges fivers. Only ever got it with fifties.

Kids. I've seen some really poor forged fivers. Done on the school colour photocopier or printer.

Imagine how much scrutiny a till operator gives a fiver when there is a noisy jostling 30 deep queue of kids buying their lunch?

Wake me up when it's all over.

The bot accounts on here. What is the point of them anyway?

They never give any good advice or contribute anything they just constantly state the bleeding obvious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,039 ✭✭✭The Continental Op

And often state the bleeding obvious 5 or more years too late.

Edit> might be a training thing for the bot itself to see how good it is?

Wake me up when it's all over.

The mucky wet leaves on the pavement. I remember in my area a few years ago DCC had men out clearing them and doing a great job. Not any more.
