100% Marrooned. Must be very frustrating for guys on the fringes of the panel who feel they are worthy of a shot and have to watch likes of Deegan and R Reid consistently make the same mistakes. Reid is a sweeper nothing else which we can’t afford to play against most teams, even at that last year in the semi final when we went a man up he should of relished as the spare man at the back and instead totally flunked it giving ball after ball away, and I’d also put the blame on him for passing that ball to Deegan for the goal.

That’s the biggest reason lyng needed to move on this year fresh slate for everyone anyone that felt they were messed around before or on the fence before going in would have maybe given it a go if there was new management Ticket not just 2 new coaches

I know zach is playing with fort rangers. Does that mean he definitely gone off kilkenny panel?

Hard to see how Tommy Walsh and shine be back in March /April. Cruciate is long term. Ryan Taylor did his against us in 2023 semi final and wasn't back till the following year semi final

Yeah i agree the dreaded cruciate is probably 8 months before back playing but 11 months before your back to proper championship pace and back to your best physically.

It was a bit of an anti climax in fairness on Sunday after 2 brilliant finals at junior and intermediate. I honestly thought all year OLG would get it done but you have to hand it to Ballyhale, they fully deserved it. I think given the deteriorating conditions, they might have a right crack at the club AI now. Paddy Mullen did some job on Sunday, he rattled nearly every OLG defender and played on the edge all day.

I don't know if the Village are good enough to come back up either. I think if Gowran were set up right from the start they would have pushed them very hard in the semi. Gowran will improve more in the next year give their young players coming through and the experience the last few years have given them.

Kilkenny as already stated need to rebuild and the 2 lads going travelling will force Derek's hand. Again if new management were in maybe we would have a few more returning also. People saying Corcoran too slow but I think he's the best option for 6 at the minute. The bigger question is who's going to fill the number 3 jersey??

I agree with Corcoran being the best option for 6 currently, I think Mikey Carey could be best to fill in at 3

I’d agree trying Carey full back, but I would also be trying Moylan there at some stage just to cover ourselves. There are lots of options out there, the trouble is all theses players need time some might gel straight away while others will take time. I heard there were trials for minor and U20 while the minor is a good thing ,surely it gets in the way of the U20 championship?

I know you would be robbing Peter to pay Paul but would d blanchfield work at fullback he has all the attributes

everything and anything should be tried and tested at this stage.
