    And another thing: for the past few days my stupid stomach has been acting as if I were on a 17th century tallship in high seas in the middle of a tropical storm, and for no valid reason. My belly, on the other hand, has been groaning and grumbling, full of thunder and dragons, casting spells and pronouncing riddles to be solved on pain of death, again for no valid reason.

    Could someone please point me in the direction of the nearest scrapheap?

    ‘people you may know’ thing on Facebook.

    A business isn’t a person. So why is X timber yard, Y coffee shop, Z bike repair shop, none of which are even in my neighbourhood, flagged as ‘ people you may know ‘. ??? Some are in even different counties ffs. 🤪

    A sharp knife between the first and second Weetabix + the top cut off can be inverted and used to close the sleeve and keep the rest of the Weetabix fresh and crunchy.

    no rain forecasted for late afternoon here when I checked this morning. But it’s been raining hours, still is.

    Went back to the app of that forecast… current conditions : overcast, rain 0.0 mm.

    Think it’s time just to ditch that app and get back to using accuweather..I was all looking forward to a nice long walk.

    I kept hearing these odd noises in the kitchen. When I went in to look I couldn't hear anything. It was only when I watched a video on YT that I realised my phone was still connected to the Bluetooth speaker I have in there.

    Had booked a table at a sushi restaurant that we've been to many times in the past. Sat down, got the menu, totally different from what they'd usually serve. I ask where's xxx and xxx? Oh we don't do those in the evening anymore. I had checked their website an hour beforehand and our usual picks were still listed.

    When I pointed this out I was told, oh, yes, but that's the takeaway menu, you can't order it to sit in anymore. Annoyed us so much that we decided to leave. Reducing the dine-in menu to 5 options while having a regular takeaway menu, make it make sense!!!

    Recently a streaming service advertised a new sound quality option as an add on pay thing, approximately three days ago the sound changed to something like cassette demos. I'm not seeing it indicated anywhere and I did find equaliser settings to mitigate the issue but I also don't see widespread uproar making me wonder if I'm imagining it - double TA worthy maybe?

    While doing a search on how to remove mildew from suede, I came across a website (obviously populated with articles generated by a bot) where there was a helpful suggestion on how to eradicate thistle. The "cover" picture for the article was someone caulking a skirting board.🙄

    OMG, morning TV. I’m home on the BH Monday, just relaxing and tv ads are all cremations, charities saving injured animals, saving children in poverty, insurance, carpet cleaners from JML - god its depressing.
