I have a Lyca eSIM. I paid for a small data plan about a week ago.

I notice I can choose between 5G/LTE/3G/2G for LM.

For Clearmobile it’s 5G/4G only (Vodafone network)

That's because there's not a proper carrier file for Lyca Mobile on iPhone afaik, some other MVNOs are the same also.

It's a pity the discounted plan "reverts" to the more expensive price after the 12 months. They could otherwise have less customer churn if the discounted price renews "as is" once you renew for another 12 months.

Yeah they've added the €12.99pm plan which is just as is and not discounted for 12 months. They still have a FUP in place with this plan though, 200GB.

All of their plans get speed limited to 128Kbps once the FUP is passed, they shouldn't be allowed to advertise it as "unlimited" with this FUP in place IMO.

Under long term plan, there more options to choose from.

I had the “Unlimited” 5G €110 year plan before. Albeit on the Three network. I don’t recall having any issues.

LM offers a sizeable EU data allowance on that plan (25.5GB).

It has a 200GB FUP, go down to the plan's T&Cs.

Yeah, it's just the carrier file so. LTE is also shown instead of 4G when there's not a proper carrier file.

It also becomes concerning for eir group customers based on their 5G is only 4G data speeds

Volume of users. But it's only an assumption.
