    Coltart joined the commentary a few minutes ago. Radar starts needling him about why he's late and where he's been, as he only surfaced around midday. Just as Coltart starts talking, Radar cuts him off to ask if he pissed the bed last night. That was the quietest McGinley or Coltart have been in years, with everyone laughing in the background.

    Why does McGinley still talk about ball speed and carry is a x 2. When really it’s not as otherwise Rory and co be carrying the ball 350 yards every time. Maybe he needs to review his data

    Don't get me wrong - I like the craic myself.

    They only come here once a year and get a strange perception of Ireland - but this constant pushing of Ireland as " the craic " - " the laugh " - " the fun " - " the pints " - " fell out of bed " - " be gorah - be gorah " - " Temple bar tonight "

    Its getting a bit car crash - McGinley pushing it as well (as well as himself pushing himself) - the golf product , sure it is near 500 euro a round and not for Irish at all. Does McGinley even have a house in Ireland ?

    Ireland is a multicultural society , with a highly educated workforce and we are not all jumping into the pub in the afternoon for an impromptu 6 pints and Irish jig.

    The pro am too - it is all a bit dated , even the bloody masters have tried to modernize the product and event concept

    Anyway - more to Ireland than the craic and being pissed. At least the sponsors somewhat reflective of a newer Ireland.
