IMO the PC mindset needs to change to viewing PCs as commodity rather than investments to future proof, especially as the cadence of updates to the operating system speeds up and AI being a huge unknown in terms of local requirements going forward.

If you want to spend that much this one seems to be flavour of the month from the reviews, do not buy barebones if you want an OS, make sure you read the reviews at the bottom and if buying choose UK plug :

Also to add...W11 can be downloaded from M$ and a valid licence key can be purchased for less than €5.

Ordered from GMKTec site on 15th August. Confirmation on 16th saying delivery would be by DHL. First tracking update on 26th saying shipped. Invoice tonight, 28th from FedEx (Not DHL!) looking for Vat/Fees. Original tracking number not working on DHL, but is working on FedEx. This doesn't seem to be working out as indicated…

Wow, I'd get onto them, .. I've never had to pay customs etc, from memory they put the value low, what kind of costs are Fedex looking for ?

Update 2 - FedEx request yesterday evening for €13.58 Vat and €9.84 Disbursement, total €23.42. Email from FedEx this morning saying delivery is today. Now delivered. Delivery driver didn't mention any fees, and neither did I…

Value on box is $46.99.

I'm excpeting one of these to be delivered on Friday, but also got the invoice from FedEx for customs charges. How did that work out for you in the end?

Sorry about the delay in replying. Actually got a paper invoice during the week as forecast by "extra-ordinary_" Scanned it and sent to GKM, yet to hear back. It's for just under €24.

Thanks for replying, my customs invoice was €30. Delivery guy didn't mention it, but I paid online after it was delivered. I'll get on to GKM about it, but wouldn't expect any refund really. The PC itself is going well, setup was quick and no issue with updates. I mainly use it as a server for music & photos etc, but I've been using it for daily web browsing too, all going well so far.
