We already know that Trump regards Zelensky as "Not holding any of the cards" and he will frame Zelensky as the one who's against peace and "risking World War 3" by not ceding to Putin's demands… just look at the level of respect and admiration for Putin by Trump.. any hope that Nato/EU leaders had of Trump's position on Putin changing I think are gone now after their reunion…

Well Trump has already met Putin in Alaska, Russia so he should be fine.

He already has as much backing as he is gonna get from Europe and I'm sure he knows that.

He is also smart enough to ignore talk and worry about facts.

I also said previsouly the US would come up with some outrageous 'peace agreement' with Russia and when it was rejected they would use it as a cassus belli against us and Ukraine, I believe that is what will happen in the coming month. Ths is exactly what I’ve been expecting for some time now. Trump, the “expert negotiator,” not just accepted everything Russia currently occupies, he’s signalling support for additional concessions. In effect, he’s rewarding Putin’s aggression and legitimising war crimes under the guise of a peace plan. The USA is bowing to a foreign government and legitismising and putting their reputation behind their war crimes, as well as deploying their own military (masked up) on their own cities under blatent lies. Ill add that hopefully Trump only conceded additional land to that which Russia currently occupies, he may have conceded Russia gets to abduct and Russify more children beyond the 20,000 already kidnapped, Trump being keenly interested in young children that this is probably something he discussed with Putin.

The Republican party in the USA no longer exists as we knew it, this is the MAGA party. We're at a stage in political science now in the USA thats been studied and identified called "norm erosion" where the US has become a fascist state built around personality cult, and has been shown now to in effect be a satellite state of Russia. And there will not be free and fair elections there again.

Having been in Poland, Germany, and Romania for the past number of weeks they are fully expecting war, and openly discussing it, within the next 3-5 years, literally. Any complacency that would tend to dismiss this, believing Russia has been exposed as a paper tiger in Ukraine misses the fact that the actual new danger is that the United States is a satellite/client state of Moscow. I previously said the USA and Russia (and ISrael) were a new axis, however Russia is clearly the dominant member. Even Fox news' initial reports after the 'press conference' (where no questions were allowed) couldnt hide it as they picked up on how Putin spoke first, acted as the leader, was allowed to give a diatribe of historic justifications for the invasion, and Trump was "steamrolled".

The old order, Pax Americana, is gone. We have to confront the reality that our security threat will come not only from Russia but also from the US; two fronts on which are fascist states. The new order must be built in Brussels, and I would add that Canada should be included in this. Carney and Canadians recognise this threat, and have described themselves as 'the most European nation outside of Europe on Earth' recently.

That was obviously an attempt by Putin to appeal to Trump's ego and he fell for it hook, line, and sinker like the gullible fool that he is. I'm sure the Kremlin had a good laugh about that.
