    Look, we’ve had a very good summer in the market but we must sign a Keeper of quality and keep the likes of Ugarte at a maximum to the bench.

    Other then them pair things are looking up but the first few games are a tough as hell.

    I have to say - performance asides - a lot of the guys left in the squad now seem really solid lads and very likeable decent guys (time for the fans, team players etc) no ego. At least makes it easier to like the team if they're doing bad!

    In Amorims round of interviews in Chicago he talked about the new code of conduct and whats expected of the squad as Manchester United players and how they treat fans. This is all coming from himself and the new sporting directors and its great to see and hear. There is a responsibility that comes with being a MUFC player and its great to have a management team that finally sees that and has the balls to stand up to the players. Nobody, be it a player or manager is bigger than the club.

    JR deserves huge credit for what he has done in short space of time . I was confident when he came in but felt maybe he was being too ruthless but now you can actually see results.

    Being run like proper football club is best result we will get this season no matter how good or bad we are on the field.

    In space of just few months club has got its soul back. Still has way go but its night and day from the horror show of past decade.

    Im excited for the future again.

    YYou're not wrong about GK and CM. But realistically the club won't solve all the problem positions in one window. Personally im concerned by the idea of Bruno + one of our current DMs, I think we will get exposed.

    That being said, has Baleba done enough after just one season to prove he is the answer? And to justify the enormous fee being mentioned?

    We may have to bide our time to find the right players to solve all the issues. Plenty of players in the squad that have to be moved on and the club needs to focus on this too

    Well if they want to make more signings this year then maybe they need to get him out to improve the midfield and GK.

    The new Carrington looks unreal, MUTV just showed a really good video off everything.

    Nice to see De Gea getting a nice reception, say the one when he comes back out for KO and FT be even better

    100% something up with Hojlund (other than he's poo).

    I raised the question when he was on the bench against Everton, that was put down to resting him as he started the first 2 in America.

    But on the bench again in the final friendly with an otherwise almost first choice starting 11 (Maguire the only other oddity), I'd be pretty confident that the club want him to take whatever they can arrange with Milan.

    I think Hojlund on the bench is telling. I'm starting to get hopeful that there might be something in the Baleba stories. If we could get him in for Arsenal I'd be very optimistic

    Leon now takes the number 35 jersey with Sesko given the number 30. Has worn it at Salzburg and Leipzig.

    Any worry that City could hijack any deal for Baleba with the Rodri news? He's out until after the September break, reports this morning that he may be thinking about a move away, and there were already reports that City were also interested in Baleba.
