I wonder what Trump will say about this shooting incident which happened in Georgia today.

The suspect involved in this incident, named as 28 year-old Quornelius Radford, is a U.S Army automated logistics sergeant based at the Fort Stewart Army Base. He shot five U.S. Army soldiers with his own personal handgun at the army base in Georgia this afternoon.

The motive of the attack is not yet established.

Three of the victims of the attack did require surgery; however all five of the victims are now reported to be stable & are recovering in hospital.

Trump's PR Team - "Okay Mr. President. We really need to take the air out of the Epstein story, so please... Do absolutely nothing that could possibly make people remember your past affiliations with a sex offender".

    Trump -"Got it"

Trump's PR Team *turns on TV".

BREAKING: Sean "Diddy" Combs's lawyer just confirmed on national TV that they not only reached out but also had "actual conversations" with the Trump administration about pardoning him.

Whats the going rate for a pardon to the Trump crime family these days?

How many multiples of the Presidential salary gets you off the hook for sex crimes?

Just par for the course for the utterly corrupt and depraved President Trump in 2025 meanwhile his defenders and supporters get distracted by his golf score.

    Renovations…!

He's paved over the Rose garden and he seems to be slowly gilding every surface of the Oval office and filling it with hideous large golden objects!

It doesn't really look like a "people's house" (implying a lack of ostentation) - more like the palace of a Tsar or something.

Am expecting to see a Faberge egg or clock show up on his desk any day now, if they can pull one out of US museum for their new King!

I don't know how U.S multinational Companies, as a whole, feel about Trump's tariffs ref their business profits being hit when they have products entering the U.S from their plants outside the U.S AND the same applying to their exports from their U.S plants entering the countries retaliating against Trump's tariffs in kind. According to an article in todays Irish Indo, Caterpillar, Headquartered in Irving, Texas, is confident it can offset U.S. $1.5Bn hit from U.S trade levies (which I assume means tariffs) on it's products entering the U.S. from abroad. That is a large hit on a U.S Company from the U.S Govt.

Diageo expects an ANNUAL U.S $200 million hit from tariffs as well, according to another report in the same edition.

The G Maxwell and Epstein story is really kicking off tonight. There's a clear and obvious cover up.

The fascinating thing is how Trumps behavior has become so normalised, it's actually incredible. The lack of separation between the government and the judicial system is literally one of the pillar definitions of an autocracy/dictatorship.

Plus his recent comments on immigrant workers, bizarre and incredible.

The US is f***ed in the short to medium term. There's a huge amount of self inflicted damage. We're all observing a significant period of history in global socio- economic terms, and the start of a significant decline in the reputation and status of the USA.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

It’s of interest that he has replaced South Africa with Spain!!!!!!!!

Clearly Trump is somewhat bluffing here when he asks the reporters if they know what a BRICS nation is...

But, god forbid, in his defence, he has been misquoted in that tweet. In the embedded video clip, he ASKS if Spain are a BRICS nation, not states that they are one.

Face palm - my bad... the absolute muppet! Missed the bit later into that clip…

And you don't think that it is a problem that a world leader, one who is currently dismantling the world's economy, has to ask what a BRICS nation is?

It's more accurate to say he's isolating the US from the global economy by erecting trade barriers.

    News just in…

A contraction in U.S. imports "was more than offset" by strong growth in imports into other regions, including Europe, Maersk said in its second-quarter earnings statement."Even with market volatility and historical uncertainty in global trade, demand remained resilient, and we've continued to respond with speed and flexibility," CEO Vincent Clerc said.

If Maersk were to come out with more info on the imports % facts are; like to what percentage the imports between the major trading blocs and continents (excluding the U.S in all manners) had increased since Trump started his trade war with the world, they would probably cause him to have another rant. The Maersk data doesn't make it clear if it includes exports from the U.S. to the other trading blocs and continents - i assume it does exclude them.

What gets me is that some people say he is a transactional person yet he does this again and again.

The thing is that the US are already exporting pretty much everything they can.

It's not like the US has all this capacity lying around that they can now sell overseas because Trump has signed some new "deal". The new LNG "deal" with Europe is more than the totality of available LNG for export in the US today and it would take them a decade (and tens of billions in investment) to build out enough drilling sites and associated infrastructure to get to the volumes touted in the various deals by Trump.

    And that's just 1 commodity.

So if imports into the rest of the world have increased while US imports have dropped - It is absolutely not because the US are exporting more.

It just means that there's less stuff available for sale in the US , which will mean yet more cost increases due to reduced supply.

I guess that it means that the word of Trump is not that of a gentleman, just that of a transactional businessman. There seems to be more U.S goods exported to Brazil that there is Brazilian goods exported to the U.S. to the tune of some 7 Billion dollars despite Trumps "word" on the trade difference between the two countries.

In terms of what else Trump is involved in now in Europe, I hope Ukraine and Europe heed the truth that Trump cannot tell a truth, that he's lower than a snake in the grass, more likely to TACO to Russia and stick his fangs in Ukraine again.

As for his peaceful intents in the Middle East, I'd like to see Netanyahu's Govt partners and his Military stick it to him by forcing the control Gaza into the sand and gutting Trump's medal hopes.

I would have some thought for the U.S citizens and the bill Trump is sliding in under their front doors and hope they force Trump and his GOP friends out of office.

It's not even that. A transactional businessman would prioritise stability and consistency above anything else. Trump is a blithering f*ckwit who ran a casino into the ground. He doesn't understand trade, economics or even how to interact with people on a basic level.

There's a law and order story in The Independent that a former FBI agent, Jared Wise, involved in the Capitol insurrection attempt who called on other rebels to kill the police officers protecting the Capitol, calling them Nazis and Gestapo. Mr Wise was to go on trial last Jan 17th but the trial did not go ahead, the DOJ mover to have the charges dropped on 20 Jan and the judge agreed. Trump gave him a pardon. Wise is apparently now in federal employment in the DOJ, as a senior advisor to the Deputy A.G.

I'm a mite bit curious (not) as to why Trump has been venting about an attempted carjacking on Washington DC giving him cause to bring the DC National Guard out onto the capital's streets to lower the city's huge crime rate and make it safe for the people there. Does he think the mayor and her cops are failing to protect him in the White House? The Capitol is presently unoccupied by its elected citizens.

God forbid that paranoia be getting the better of him, what with people in the capital asking for some people he doesn't like to come and testify before congress as to what they know of the person lately in the media and WSJ.
