ok, the world has gone truly mad. I'm in town with work today, and thought I'd check out Easons online - some sets discounted (e.g. Lego City 4x4 mountain truck 60447 @ €15.99, Lego City Holiday Camper Van 60454 @ €23.99 and a few others). So I popped along to the store on O'Connell St. to find the same sets marked down by 20%, but from the inflated prices of €22 and €33 respectively. I asked a long suffering staff member about it, and he had been told that they weren't allowed match the website price. Unfortunately I noticed some discounted in-store prices ( e.g. Lego Star Wars Captain Rex microfighter 75391 at €14.99 with 20% off, it rang up at €11.99) which are not discounted on the website so…. infuriating.

Also, by the way, has everyone else noticed the Lego City road plates pack 60304 in Lidl for €15, instead of the RRP of €20? Also the Lego City Spaceship and Asteroid Discovery 60429 at €15 instead of the usual €20. it's a 4+ set but I still think it's got some good space elements.. nice for throwing in the car with the little ones on a trip maybe :)

It's still pricey but a lot cheaper now in smyths. Scans in at 55 euro when I bought it in Fonthill store today, even though says 70 on box. Down from 100. Not worth it but worth 55, more just wanted the exclusive minifigure.

Bit of a bargain here, 23.32 euro for 2 of them on amazon. Got this offer the other day was meant to post it but sold out fast. 1 of these sets is 19.99 on its own in smyths etc. Plus if buying say 4 of them you get an additional 5% off.

Disney store online has one or two (literally) Lego sets for sale. I got the Tie Bomber 75347 set for €45.50. shipping is an additional 5.51, unless you spend 60 to get the feds shipping. So I bought two cos I also have a moc in mind for the second one. I'm sure some of you could find other things on there to make up to 60 quid 😁
