Orbea bike

    hi

    kind of new too biking and looking at purchasing a orbea avant bike.

    Are they a decent beginner bicycle ?
    I’ve a Fuji hybrid but looking at switching over too a road bike.

    I know nothing about bikes, but I owned an orbea vector. Could have been the Galway weather, cycling a lot in rain, but in a year I was replacing ball joints in the pedals, gearing mech tore off going up a mild incline, the brake was always rubbing against the pad(I prob should have returned it over this tbf). Suspected I was sold a dud but that's a conspiracy theory. They are probably fine in general
