A month off has seen a fairly rusty first half, 2 points down at ht, but with the wind I would expect us to get the win.

Cork 1-22 Clare 0-27 FT. Enjoyable game with the right result I think, Clare played very well in the 2nd half. We struggled to win any ball in the Clare half

Tight all the way through but never drove on in the second half. Good game but a real pity, there was an All Ireland in that team I think but they can have no complaints.

Felt we were in trouble at half time. Wind was only 2 or 3 points at best.

    Better team won.

It probably needs Waterford to win it for Hurling

Would be nice for Waterford to win it - hopefully they will get a bus for the final.

As a loyal supporter of the Cork hurlers for probably 35 years, it sometimes makes me sad how little support follows the football. They work just as hard, maybe harder and yet the numbers just don't go. I remember in Colin Corkerys era when maybe the following was 20% less, now it feels like 80!!

The atmosphere in Limerick last week was something to be so proud of. We are the envy of every county in Ireland.

Equally is the low following of the County's footballers something to be ashamed of? Bearing in mind Cork is the biggest county in Ireland I think the footballers would be right to question it!!

I am just surprised as ye givin what happened in tulla earlier in the year , yeah , as you say waterford need it big time in fairness we all will get players through for senior but waterford need it for themselves above anything else

Away to Dublin next weekend for the footballers (we actually got Kerry in the draw but obviously couldn’t happen that way).

Ah I don't get this logic at all. The footballers knew hurling was more popular when they went for it. It is what it is. A lot of people do not have the time and the money to passionately follow both.

Only ever beaten Dublin twice. 89 and 2010.

Hard see it change next week

We will be beaten well next weekend by Dublin.

It's hard to see us beating the Dubs but we have nothing to lose, so hopefully we'll give a good account of ourselves and have a right good crack at them. Dublin aren't the force that they were either, but it would still be a shock if we actually pull a win out of the bag here.

I think we will have a cut off them, they are not the Dublin of old either.

I'd say if they half fill Croke Park they'll be lucky.

Limerick won't travel, seeing Dublin as easy pickings in the hurling.

Cork won't travel as the majority will want to go to the hurling semi final

Dublin don't really follow the hurlers and will see Cork as easy pickings

So while on paper it's attractive the reality attendance wise is half full at best imo

It would still be embarrassing even if he had won one.
