I know TV rules - but these daft late major starts are daft -

I don't know what Radar or the comms are doing. Asking Radar if any chance of lightning, Radar says no, then we can make out from the screen behind the green that dangerous weather is coming.

    Useless!

Jaysus - is that - that Scottie Sheffler's baby out in that . I've seen more of that bleeding baby than Rory lately.

My point is many of your posts are just hyperbole. Golf isnt struggling and the leaderboard isnt muck. You didnt say youd prefer. You said muck.

Drying up quick - if it looks like it was even local on parts of course - no lads brushing greens yet

To the point about Scott being a nice bloke, I did notice when the rain started and they were getting the umbrellas up and heading for shelter, they Scott was the only one who held the umbrella over his caddys head as well as his own, rest all seemed to just leave their caddys to it and keep themselves covered

So what it is a forum you can post what you want - if you think golf is not in a mess you havent a clue what you are talking about.

They have about 3 hours and the leaders are on the 8th. Should get finished provided there's no playoff (or further delay)

Will we all make it to 01:30 am tho....

Those clouds in the distance don’t look nice.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,383 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

And that's if there's no further weather delays, which is still very possible.

Looks like there are more storm clouds getting very close

The winner of this will be about 2 over i'd say.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41,248 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    It looks miserable out there.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,383 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Burns and Scott having mares on 11. Both could end up with double bogeys.

standing water affecting shots etc. I’m all for seeing them suffer a bit, but when does it become unplayable / farcical - they probably won’t get it finished tonight anyway so why bother trying to? You can see the standing water at impact for shots and under foot. It’s making it interesting for the leaderboard though! On another topic I think they’ve taken from the majors by bunching them so close together and brought more elements into play with them. I understand it’s for the fedex / tour championship but personally think it takes from them when they’re so close together in the calendar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,983 ✭✭✭Mr. Guappa

5 players within a shot of the lead, another couple two back. Great stuff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,285 ✭✭✭Caustic

    Could rahm win this yet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,571 ✭✭✭bren2001

The conditions are currently fine. Until they're not, they should be out there

Burns has joined the over par club. 5 players tied for the lead on 1 over par.

Scottie birdies last, +2 club house lead and hes very much got a chance of winning this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,843 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

If Scottie birdies the last I think he's favourite. The conditions are horrendous now. I think everybody left out there will be over par for the rest of the round.
