Don't you remember at the end of last summer when the whole world was looking at Trump and Biden as candidates thinking 'Is this the best America can come up with to run the biggest country in the world? Two old farts, one a criminal and a serial liar and the other with dementia?'

Seriously, being all outraged by Biden's failing health while overlooking Trump's utter incompatibility with the role of president is laughable.

True - The "Stage 9" bit is an easily made mistake by a non-medical person with a long history of being incapable of retaining information that isn't about him.

What makes it offensive is the nod to conspiracy theories about when Biden was diagnosed and of course his "look at me!!!" pivot.

Utterly without anything approaching an ability to show genuine compassion or empathy.

This is what happens when someone has continuous verbal diarrhoea and a need to always fill up the room with it. They, inevitably, end up talking shite. It gets doubly bad when coupled with a tragic narcissistic want for adulation.

All he had to do was to feign a bit of concern and offer the minimum of regards and he couldn't even manage that.

Besides George W. Bush, I cannot think of another thoroughly undeserving person to be elected President…

    …of anything.

Is Trumps visit to the Capitol today to persuade the reluctant GOP to vote for THEIR party's financial bill live on TV?

Edit: CNN covering Trump saying the economy is booming and Biden opened the borders, no signature on who opened it, the radical left signed it, Biden never signed it….. The tax cut is bigger than Ronald Reagan's, even bigger than the tax cut I gave.

Trump illness is spreading. Reform Party council members in the UK refuse to attend diversity training.

If by "persuade" you mean shout at a few of them and threaten them with a primary challenger , then yes.

But if you mean , attempt to hear their concerns and find consensus , then no..

there's a good CNN youtube, where it is explained that it was the trump administration that approached Qatar initially about their Boeing.

Boeing explained to the white house that their new Airforce 1's would not be available until 2027, but gave a list of Boeings around the world that would be suitable, for conversion to Airforce 1.

    more lies, is anyone surprised?

    daily trumping at this stage.

This is Biden just a couple of weeks ago. For more coherent than anything Trump ever says.

But but but Biden….rather than take accountability for their own regime. They are completely morally bankrupt

They can refuse the training all they want, but let them not moan when they're hauled in front of a tribunal when they 'unknowingly' breach the Equality Act.

They have a functioning legal system. What's the issue with diversity anyway? Never heard a word about it until Trump got a bee in his bonnet.

Diversity, in their heads, discriminates against middle-aged white men. It's just not on giving women, gay people and coloured folks the same rights as proper white English people and God forbid, holding them accountable for the things they say and do.

Farage is a **** and that is all.

We all know how much success Trump has had with arranging peace deals between people he knows so well and people he invites to meetings in the White House. AFAIK/can ascertain, Obama was the last president Putin visited in the US, despite getting an invitation from Trump when John Bolton was Trumps national security adviser.

What is really frustrating about the DEI business is that (presumably) the vast majority of posts where a woman or a non-white person or a disabled person have been appointed it was solely on merit, there are many institutions and firms that do just select the best qualified person.

But the bigotted decide that every woman, non-white person or handicapped person in a senior position must be a DEI appointment, therefore, it follows, since the bigotted have not bothered to understand how DEI is supposed to work, that these people are in fact in some way lacking in ability.

This is one reason why I am a bit sceptical about DEI - not because of how it should work, but because of the way it is interpreted and understood. Still, I can't see any better option at the moment, but maybe clearer education on what it means and how it should work would be useful. Even more useful in the US would be if the President and his Cabinet had some understanding of the meaning, implications and application of DEI.

Farage's trick is just to rebrand with a new operation once people find out what kind of people he associates with. As for the DEI stuff they're obsessed with:

    image.png

That's all it ever really is. They think that parroting Trumpisms is going to win them the election but Trump is completely toxic outside the USA now. He's managed to turn Canada's knackered Liberal party into a rejuvenated fighting force.

    HASSAN: What is habeas corpus?

NOEM (Secretary of Homeland Security) : Habeas corpus is a constitutional right that the president has to be able to remove people from this country

    HASSAN: That's incorrect

    ----—

    This is an interaction today.

Why is DEI attacked for being responsible for unqualified hires, when Trump's whole cabinet is a smorgasbord of degenerate idiots?

Elect a clown... Expect a circus

Those people already have the same rights.

    Equity is not equality.

It's not really about competence so much as it is about having people who loyal, supplicant, sycophantic and will carry out the orders of the POTUS with minimal pushback. And if you need a couple of dogs shot while you're at it…

Speaking of which, Trump's new ambassador, confirmed by the senate, is Charles Kushner, dad of the son-in-law.

In 2005, Kushner was convicted of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering, and was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, which he served in the Federal Prison Camp, Montgomery. As a convicted felon, he was also disbarred in three states. He later received a pardon issued by his son's father-in-law, President Donald Trump, on December 23, 2020.

With the way Europe is now US-sceptical, it's a wait and see to how Macron gets on with Kushner.

To use an example, Trump's decision to fire Carla Hayden as the librarian of Congress had nothing to do with choosing the best person for the job. Her work in the library had actually drawn praise for her due to her modernisation of it and increased accessibility. So pretty clearly the best person for the job.

He replaced her with his defence lawyer... You naturally don't like to comment on these kinds of things cause it pretty clearly represents bigotry and anti intellectualism.

It was to do with getting her out of the way so he could dismantle the copyright office to allow Musk and his AI firm to consume every available piece of content without paying a penny.

It looks like that.I think she may have been trying to be a smartarse but what came out of her mouth indicated a dumbarse.

Not understanding what habeas corpus is should be a disqualifying capacity but "her side" won't give a shite

She did seem to understand that T wanted to suspend it but not really what it was he wants to suspend (other than that it is inconvenient)

It's worth noting that one of the reasons such training was introduced was so companies would be covered in the event of someone insulting a colleague or customer.

Reform council members may find out the hard way it isn't 1974 any more.

Donald Trump is dumb. Trump Junior makes his father look sage, wise and intelligent.

You're right, equity in law is not equality in law. And that is the truth on how to get around what's on the law books, call it by another word and people will swallow it, even though they know the speaker is a liar.
