"In December 2015 in response to questions about his health, Trump asked Bornstein to issue a "full medical report", predicting that it would show "perfection".[8] Two days later Bornstein signed a letter full of superlatives, saying that Trump's "laboratory results are astonishingly excellent" and that Trump "will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."[9] In August 2016, Bornstein stated that he had written the letter in five minutes while Trump's limousine waited for it. But he reiterated that Trump's "health is excellent, especially his mental health."[10]

In May 2018 Bornstein said that, in fact, Trump had dictated the letter over the telephone, then sent a car to pick it up.[11] Bornstein said in an interview with CNN that "Mr. Trump dictated the letter and I would tell him what he couldn't put in there..."[12]

Speaking to The New York Times in February 2017, Bornstein revealed that he was invited to and attended President Trump's inauguration with his wife Melissa. Bornstein told The Times that he enjoyed the attention from being known as the President's personal physician.[13] According to Stat, Bornstein had hoped to be the physician to the president, but the White House decided that Ronny Jackson would continue in that role.[14]

On May 1, 2018, Bornstein told NBC News that three Trump representatives had "raided" his office on February 3, 2017, taking all of Trump's medical records. Bornstein said he felt "raped, frightened and sad" over the event. He identified two of the men as Trump's longtime bodyguard Keith Schiller and the Trump Organization's chief legal officer Alan Garten. Two days earlier, Bornstein had told a reporter that Trump took a prescription hair growth medicine, Propecia, after which Trump cut ties with him.[15]

You could one-up Donnie there by saying that France won the War of 1778 (of which the US War of Independence was just a side-conflict in the grander scale of fighting the British Empire), and yet the Americans should do more to celebrate the French contibution.

Of course that kind of reference would go over Donnies head higher than an ill-gotten Qatari jetliner.

No wonder Trump walked the election. If this book is accurate Biden was a complete mess mentally long before he stood aside.

They walked the election because enough people felt that the sight of a black woman was far too much to bear ,and they much preferred a convicted felon and known liar.

The US electorate should stop looking for excuses and at least admit that hatred and fear and the driving factors behind their vote.

If the US doesn't enter the war the allies can't win with France defeated and Britain neutered. Britain was on life support from the US before the US entered the war. Without those supply lines Britain would have had to surrender.

If the Nazis don't do Barbarossa when they did they would have won in the west and north Africa but the Russian conflict would have come inevitably because it was part and parcel of Nazi ideology to destroy communism.

Where I think Trump and many others are wrong is the assertion we'd all have been speaking German. That doesn't fit with how things panned out because Russia eventually ran riot on the Eastern front. Stalin would hardly have stopped in Germany if the allies weren't fighting on the western front.

I reckon it's more likely we'd all have been speaking Russian if the US had no involvement.

All just fun speculation of course.

Just to remind you, America entered WW2 after Japan attacked Pearl Harbour, and only after America declared war on Japan, who were allies of Germany and Italy, did they enter into the war in Europe.
