That's fair enough, I'm not trying to force it on anyone, and apologies if it feels that eay. I find it better to put my thoughts down on the thread in an open and transparent way, then people can look back and if I die and see who was questioning it and going against it if it turns out to be true. I've no problem with answering any questions put to me about any of the posts I make.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Steve WW

I'd feel that's the most logical thing right now, tbh.

I don't see the benefit of a bad Wendy forcing themselves into the spotlight with a gun they know will cause them struggles. It's a big play if it's a wolf, but my instinct is more that Wendy genuinely did get a message telling her she had a gun, and was honest about it.

Given the OP, and the fact we have a wolf who has to "convince" people, having it that they can send out a dodgy gun that they can trick people actually could be an option.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Orla WW

That's actually quiet possible and a good theory there.

But would the only way to get an answer to that be to also resolve Wendy anyways?

There will always be doubt there now for Wendy for me anyways for sure, not sure I can speak for the rest of ye.

Steve I'm doing my read back. You made a good point earlier that a wolf vig shot would be announced as flavour, and that made it unlikely that Wendy would make such a claim. Obviously wolves can feck up and miscalculate, perhaps didn't think of that, but it is worth bearing in mind, when assessing Wendy's claim.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,752 ✭✭✭Jake WW

Neutral, I'm not seeing anything to indicate wolf.

I had a read back and she did mention the "kills without blinking" being in bold.

Fr. Fintan Stack – The loudest man in Ireland, possibly the world. Drives a stolen car, has very hairy hands, blasts jungle music at 4 a.m., and kills without blinking. He’s not just a werewolf — he’s an arsehole.

I've no idea what relevance that has, if any, but she does seem involved.

The best thing is for Wendy to take a shot.. if it works we will know the answer, I'm expendable, so she can shoot me if she wishes. If it works then she's next, you can review my interactions on the thread, I think they will give you all the most information, if it doesn't then we can assess.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Orla WW

Adding to that, if it doesn't work I will need to be resolved so you can lynch me straight away

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,936 ✭✭✭Holly WW

What do you mean if it doesn't work, you're expendable?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,936 ✭✭✭Holly WW

Any chance you've got/could do an updated post count?

Feel there's a few posters on the down low

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,752 ✭✭✭Jake WW

If a wolf convinced Wendy she had a gun what would they gain?

Nigel and I were most likely to be yeeted. So, one of us is a wolf and this was to throw Wendy into the spotlight. Or, neither of us is a wolf (I'm not, but I would say that), and this was to add Wendy to the mix for yeet. 3 handy yeets lined up.

Or, Wendy is a wolf and is hoping to shoot a villager.

    Which seems more likely?

Maybe yeah but I'd not be lynching Wendy tonight on the basis of it. If it's use it or lose it, my opinion would be lose it. Tbh even if everything is above board, the odds are high that it will hit a villager so why not put it aside for now and use it to inform us later as more is revealed about raffle / shaman etc.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Orla WW

Because there will be doubts there about why it didn't work, was it blocked, who blocked it.. there will be doubts and I would need to be resolved so best to get that out of the way and go through the interactions I had

I'd prefer Wendy test out any theory on me rather than Orla.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Orla WW

I'm on mobile at the mo, and be putting the kids to bed soon so won't have access to do it. A few pages back I showed Regan how to do it so you could try yourself

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,752 ✭✭✭Jake WW

Why not get Wendy to shoot Nigel or I? We're the most likely wolves based on FFAs.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Orla WW

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,936 ✭✭✭Holly WW

I could, but I probably wouldn't have it ready until tomorrow's lynch! 🤣

    Not to worry

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 736 ✭✭✭Regan WW

I read that as being if she wanted to use it, it had to be today.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,241 ✭✭✭Phil WW

Evenings can be busy for me so reading over now. I'd agree with those who said its a huge play for a wolf and more likely Wendy did receive a gun

I'm planning to vote Nigel but will keep an eye on what happens with this gun. Wendy needs to come back and play!

I'm busy all evening with url stuff so I'm gonna announce my vote now just incase I don't get on. I've been on Nigel and Steve all game and to be honest you can say it's following others or whatever but I didn't like how either started and I still not convinced in Nigel and I haven't read any different on Steve.

However saying that I think Wendy is playing a game and I don't Think the gun is genuine so I'm putting In an early vote in Wendy. If I get back on and I'm convinced otherwise I'll switch but I don't think it's gonna happen.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,752 ✭✭✭Jake WW

I'm waiting to see how this shot plays out.

    Bad list

Not a great list, not sure how I’ll vote tonight yet.

Wendy: Tops for consideration now as I can’t see a convincing explanation of the gun, although may change my mind after it is shot. Conflicted though as she could be a village victim of wolf tricks. If I were to examine her posts/contributions part from the gun I would have a good read overall

Oisin: Meh. Sup Troops as first post. Followed by ‘how TF are there 10 pages to catch up on?;. Red flag IMHO. Also not noticing that post explicitly noted as flavour was flavour. Lazy villager or wolf play acting as clueless. Not adding much, so wouldn’t worry about losing them if I were wrong.

The Frank trio. Either this was wolves trying to shut down someone who might point to them, wolf Frank trying to hide a role, or wolves latching on to the only person (That I can see) to make a firm 1,2, 3 list as a good way to sow confusion. Would tend towards wolves hitting him due to his list to sow confusion rather than worry about being named, as it only drew attention to the three named.

Gertrude: Not getting much from them. Come across as villager trying to get up to speed, but not entirely natural.

Phil. ’m not getting much from them at read back. A bit too village to be village perhaps.

    Good list:

Orla: First to attempt deciphering OP and significance. Has been strong on asking questions, theorising. Has gone in strong on some people, that would come back to bite if wolf. Strongest voice in the game, would be worrying if a wolf.

Regan: Has had string posts throughout. Out the bat was trying to figure things out.

Jake: Asked for people to vote declare on thread. Don’t see a wolf doing this. This was also seconded by Frank which is good look for Frank also. Has tried to theorise throughout.

Steve: I like his posts, particularly his point about the wolf vig shot would be announced with flavour. Strikes me as reasoned villager.

Frank: Has been decisive in calling people out. Called for vote declaring on thread. Silenced by wolves, village lean.

I’m neutral on others. Hopefully gunomics and wagonomics will clarify things.
