So I'm not accused of jumping on a bandwagon here but I haven't a clue what a shaman is but I did say earlier I don't trust Wendy's announcement and fact she wanted to use it straight away nearly but then backtracked said wait for group vote.

Chat gpt has explained to me what a shaman is.

I’ve gotta head out and still have reads to do for Oisin and Regan.

EWAN - isn’t wolf hunting but jumping on other players reasoning. Not leading conversations much but definitely following. Responded to this earlier and I liked what they said. Moved to more neutral than wolf lean for now.

FRANK Not afraid to fire out accusations straight out of the stalls. He has been blocked from voting tonight by the wolf team. Leaning good.

GERTRUDE - loads of baseless stuff in their few posts. Trying to steer conversations and when it hasn’t worked disappeared again. Leaning wolf.

HOLLY - posting in a random way drawing attention. Asking to be shot. Could well be TWTBAW so I’m sticking with a neutral lean for now.

JAKE - I quite like Jake’s post and can see anything inherently wolfy about them. Gets involved, asks questions of others, answers anything asked of him. Has me as the bullet option to resolve it which is fair enough and has Lucy or Gertrude for peek which is be happy with. Leaning good.

LUCY - a few nothing questions asked today but all a bit meh. Wouldn’t be surprised if Lucy on a team with Phil or Jake. Neutral with a side of Wolf lean.

ORLA - not afraid to question everyone and everything and throws in pros and cons to all scenarios. A crazy amount of work if they were a wolf so leaning good.

PATRICK - started off not saying much really but did quite other players but nobody chatted back until the random wolf gun backfiring convo this afternoon. Hasn’t formed opinions on any players yet. Just adding in a few titbits about the game rather than making accusations. Slight wolf lean.

PHIL - keeping up with the thread and engaging with plenty of players. I’m neutral on them for now though.

STEVE - I like Steve’s responses to the plentiful questions he was asked. Seems pure and not forced. Leaning good.

VERNON - seems to be trying to guide RVs in the correct direction. Village lean.

WENDY - depending on whether Wendy sticks with the crowd consensus and the crowd chooses a wolf for the bullet will determine what way I lean on her. If the crowd chooses a villager I’d have to keep Wendy as a neutral lean for now.

WINIFRED - confident in their posting style and not afraid to answer questions. Leaning neutral to good.

What is the crowd consensus for Wendy's bullet? Did anyone count.

Apologies for the wonky post earlier. Reads list (this time featuring Lucy too)

Ewan WW Posted Sat Neutral to bad read here. Some posts read as carefully edited.

Frank WW Posted Sun Closely reading thread, blocked vote. Leaning good

Gertrude WW Mon Neutral here. Not really enough and either didn't read thread or was lying about me contradicting myself. One to watch.

Holly WW Posted Sat Did not like opening posts, lots of fluff and filler. More on task today. Neutral to good.

Jake WW Posted Sun Heavily focused on roles. Called out Gertrude on non - contradiction so paying close attention to thread. Don't love that they didn't let me answer first though. Went to effort of translating Steve's latin post. Somewhat defensive. Neutral for now.

Lucy WW Posted Sun Mostly nothing to begin with. Not sure here at all. Neutral.

Nigel WW Posted Sun Called out as wolf by Frank. Commented on village as if not part of it BUT wolf block on Frank could be stitch up. Engaging more today. Neutral to good based on reads list – does a wolf work this hard?

Oisin WW Posted Mon am Again not enough to go on here. Would like to hear more.

Orla WW Posted Sat Very involved. Either wolf who peeks good or village. More helpful than not so leaning good for now.

Patrick WW Posted Sun Low enough posting initially. Sowing confusion around the gun? Unclear if deliberate or badly worded. Accuses me and someone else but no reasons why. Don't like this but OMGUS is bad idea so neutral for now.

Phil WW Posted Sat Engaged, reading thread, interacting widely. Lean good for now.

Steve WW Posted Sat Flagged Ewan's post about the bishop role. Back and forth with a few. Would like to hear more. Neutral to good here.

Vernon WW Posted Sat Engaging well and widely. Quoted Stack but didn't overreact to post mentioning it. Leaning good here.

Wendy WW Posted Sun Response to Nigel's pessimistic post rang false to me. Having gun is suspicious but does a wolf do this? Neutral to bad for me but largely based on gut tbf.

Winifred WW Posted Sat Would like to hear more. Neutral to good at the moment, possibly meta for me here.

The raffle part all says that it's each night post lynch the raffle will take place..

    But the prize is

    Tonight’s prize is a lovely

    Drink! Feck! Arse! Survival kit.

Which is an obvious reference to Jack so one can assume that he is giving the prizes as gifts

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 736 ✭✭✭Regan WW

@Orla WW Why do you think wolf JOAT btw?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 736 ✭✭✭Regan WW

More than the title of the raffle, the bit that says:

"Notably, raffle prizes will only be awarded post-lynch"

suggests that as no lynch yet, prizes can't be awarded.

Pat Mustard – That hair. That charm. That suspicious habit of being around just as someone goes missing. The milkman with the libido of ten men, the eyes of a cold-blooded killer and some wicked abilities to boot. He also shows as good to any pesky seer peeks, because he’s so feckin gorgeous.

Some wicked abilities imply more than one.. so it fits with a JOAT

    Fair enough thanks.

Mary I leaned negative on you first for damaging my eyes with that table of info, but you're back to neutral since you've posted a better summary since

Again that is my interpretation of that and I don't expect others to have the same one as me. Personally think it fits and fits with the scenario I laid out this morning, even more now as there was no lynch last night or raffle etc and no notice of a gift being given

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,936 ✭✭✭Holly WW

    @Wendy WW

    Tick tock. Tick tock.

    Time to take stock.

Anyone in mind to lock in with the glock?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 736 ✭✭✭Regan WW

Any thoughts on Fr Dick Byrne? I'd have thought Stack was wolf vig based on original read but flavour this morning suggests not. I'm wondering now if he's just ordinary wolf and convincing is just flavour for how any wolf would play, by trying to convince others they're village.

I don't know though, other parts of the post about the raffle suggests it's Ted in charge of the raffle.

Father Ted Crilly has proudly announced the return of the Craggy Island Clerical Raffle.

"Yes, we may be enduring a terrifying werewolf infestation, but there's no reason we can't enjoy a bit of harmless fun while we wildly accuse one another of murder," said Father Crilly during a slightly damp press conference held outside the Parochial House. “And the best part: everyone’s entered automatically, whether they want to be or not!

The raffle, traditionally held during the Season of Lent and Low Morale, will now run nightly during the Werewolf Crisis. The winning ticket will be drawn each evening immediately after the lynching, assuming enough villagers survive to hear the result, with the successful resident being notified by PM.

Mrs. Doyle, official Raffle Overseer and tea-related enthusiast, confirmed the prize is “a surprise”, and may include “tea, teapots, or a framed photo of Our Lord—possibly signed by Daniel O’Donnell.” When pressed for more details, she offered reporters seventeen different kinds of sandwiches and then locked herself in the sacristy.

Notably, raffle prizes will only be awarded post-lynch, a move Father Crilly described as "economically sound and morally ambiguous."

“We wouldn’t want the prize going to someone who turns out to be a werewolf, would we?” he added with a nervous laugh, glancing suspiciously at Father Jack, who had just bitten a pigeon.

Now I suppose it might be Jack supplying the gifts and Ted picking the recipients or all Jack or all Ted.

    I don't think it really matters, as the substantive point is: There was no announcement of a gift on thread. Makes Wendy's claim more likely to be false than not. Sometimes false claims are rolled persons covering up their role but wanting to let part of their rolled powers be known. In this case Dougal is the village vig, and he has lost his shot for the day;

    He fired! A direct hit!

Unfortunately... it was just a scarecrow. Wearing a tea cosy.

“I thought it was Father Damo in disguise,” Dougal explained later. “He always did look a bit... straw-y.”

The island remains in peril. The wolves still stalk among us...

And Dougal is now grounded from all rifle related activities. Until tomorrow at least.

So if Wendy is a rolled person, more likely wolf than village, as cannot be Dougal. Possibly as you postulated the Alpha wolf covering for wolf vig.

Other possibility is that she really did receive the gun through PM, in which case it was either from the village or the wolves. If it was the wolves then likely tainted. If from the village I would like if rolled villagers to stay schtum. Better to lose an NRV than reveal a rolled village.

I reckon this should self resolve soon, what happens when Wendy shoots should give us more insight.

Why me and Steve? I asked about myself already but no reply. Not a fan of names without reasons.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,752 ✭✭✭Jake WW

If Wendy is a wolf, do you think she's Pat Mustard or just sent out to ask?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Orla WW

“We wouldn’t want the prize going to someone who turns out to be a werewolf, would we?” he added with a nervous laugh, glancing suspiciously at Father Jack, who had just bitten a pigeon.

Ted telling Jack not to give it to a wolf 😂

Also It doesn't specifically say that Ted is giving out the prizes, moreso that he is announcing the return of it, with Mrs Doyle Overseeing it.

Then the name being Drink, Feck, Arse survival Kit.. that's definitely coming from Jack imo

This was my initial post on Dick..

    Dick Byrne

The OP states that while teamed up with the other two he can be very convincing, I would be of mind in thinking that this would be changing a vote, may possibly only work while all wolves live.

I'd still think that, vote manipulation

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 736 ✭✭✭Regan WW

I thought it was going to be votes related too but I'd be a bit surprised if there were 2 vote manipulating powers in play.

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,936 ✭✭✭Holly WW

How could you forget the wife John?

Nice of you of all people to jump in here though

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 4,476 ✭✭✭Orla WW

Vote powers aren't really that powerful and would would help balance a JOAT, could even be nothing.. and just flavour..

Another possibility is that Wendy is Dick and they have to convince us they have a gun.. either way I think Wendy is a baddun and would be leaning more towards Pat

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,752 ✭✭✭Jake WW

Why are you using names of characters that aren't in the OP?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 3,236 ✭✭✭Steve WW

I'm not fully bought in to why of why Orla is saying Wendy is bad, but I do think there's something dodgy with the "bullet".

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 736 ✭✭✭Regan WW

Interesting coz I've been thinking what wolf-Wendy's play could be here. Gaining village cred? Seems unlikely, especially if raffle results are 'announced' after lynch. Also, as Vern pointed out, there's maybe enough ambiguity in the wording on the raffle to leave it open. Could Dick be 'convincing' Wendy that she has a gun?
