Craggy Island: A Very Hairy Situation 🐺

Ah, Craggy Island. A windswept dot of chaos in the Atlantic, home to priests, parochial politics, and now… murderous werewolves.

Last Tuesday, during the annual "Night of a Thousand Teas" fundraiser, something unspeakable happened. No, not Dougal accidentally deep-frying the collection plate again — someone was eaten. Possibly two people. No one’s entirely sure because the remains were last seen being chased by Father Jack’s wheelchair down the lane.

Father Ted suspects something unnatural is afoot. Not just your typical Craggy Island madness — we’re talking full moon, fangs-out, tear-your-face-off horror. Three familiar faces to the island have returned, each more suspicious than a bishop at a bikini contest: Pat Mustard, the mustachioed milkman with a mysterious nighttime delivery schedule, Fr. Dick Byrne, Ted's arch nemesis from Rugged Island with a chip on his shoulder and a hankering for human meat in his soul, and Fr. Fintan Stack, the man whose presence causes plants to wilt and radios to scream.

In this sleepy parish of oddballs and eccentrics, the villagers must figure out who the werewolves are before the island turns into a late-night horror double bill — and Mrs Doyle runs out of tea.

Village Roles:

• Father Ted Crilly (Seer) – Trying desperately to maintain order, decency, and some semblance of sanity. Every night, Ted can kick a player up the arse and learn their alignment. He just might want to be careful not to kick any bishops…
  
  
• Father Dougal McGuire (Vigilante) – Has no idea what’s going on but might accidentally save the village anyway with a gun he borrowed off Father Damo.. Prone to mistaking wolves for rabbits.
  
  
• Father Jack Hackett (Shaman) – He may be drunk, disorderly, and half-dead in a pile of his own filth, but the tonics he drinks each night are bloody potent.. "DRINK!”
  
  
• Mrs Doyle (Bodyguard) – Offers everyone tea and spiritual protection. Each night, she may choose one person to protect, and also make their house nice and tidy while she does it..
  
  

🐺 The Wolves:

• Pat Mustard – That hair. That charm. That suspicious habit of being around just as someone goes missing. The milkman with the libido of ten men, the eyes of a cold-blooded killer and some wicked abilities to boot. He also shows as good to any pesky seer peeks, because he’s so feckin gorgeous.

• Fr. Fintan Stack – The loudest man in Ireland, possibly the world. Drives a stolen car, has very hairy hands, blasts jungle music at 4 a.m., and kills without blinking. He’s not just a werewolf — he’s an arsehole. 

• Fr. Dick Byrne - Still infuriated by the Eurosong debacle, Dick Byrne turned to a spot of the ould Satanism in his spare time. Now he's teamed up with Mustard and Stack he can be very convincing…

Everyone else is an NRV. Or potentially a Bishop. They’re one in the same anyways in this game. Assuming no arse kicking.

Game Rules:

1) Once you are eliminated, do not post in the thread again. Absolutely no editing or deleting posts for any reason, once you make a post it cannot be changed. Eliminated players should also not thank active players' posts, for obvious reasons. Once you are eliminated you can click the link in this OP providing access to a safe space where you can discuss the game away from the view of the players as soon as Necro can get to it.

2) Don’t cheat, it’s a game that relies heavily on the players having integrity. No PMing other players in the game. If you have any concerns about the game mechanics or the integrity of other players contact the mods who will make a decision, if one is required to be made. Do not discuss any of this in game or elsewhere, and please don’t discuss any aspects of the game elsewhere on the site whilst the game is ongoing. Always remember, there may be secrets. 

3) Please all try to reasonably contribute to the game thread, adhere to the 5 post minimum rule per day, and always remember to get a vote in (where it is possible for you to do so) as a minimum. 2 missed votes will result in a modkill. Arranging a substitution is not always possible unfortunately.

4) No posting of any PM's from the game mod. You may refer to the information contained within if you wish, but paraphrase, do not quote them verbatim.

5) Game starts with Sunday considered as an extended Day 1, with the first Lynch at 10pm Monday Evening (some role actions may take place prior to this on Monday only, no actions will take place on the Sunday). After 10pm Monday will be considered night 1. Set time for Munch is 10am & for Lynch is 10pm. This game will also operate with (semi) closed nights - the thread will close at 11.30pm and reopen with the morning announcements at 10am the next morning. This is to both give the mod and players some respite from having to follow the thread all the time. It will also be trialled on an honour system basis which means that the thread won’t be closed off, but you should not be posting between the above times.

6) You will be provided with a voting code in your role PM. Do not share your vote form password to anyone else. All votes for the eliminations/yeets have to be made by yourself. Voting will be done via Google Yeeting forms with the link provided in the OP. In the event of a tied vote on an elimination/yeet, the yeeted player will be decided by last vote cast. 7) Policy on Abuse: Boards has a no-abuse rule in place that is in effect in this forum as well. By all means, call people on dodgy behaviour, point out if they are being silly or behaving strangely, be aggressive in your approach; but DO NOT abuse another player. If you feel another player has stepped over a line, the first step is to ask them to stop; if they do not, please PM a forum mod (Trigger) or use the report button on the post in question. Forum mods will investigate and action any issues at an appropriate time, keeping the game mods informed of any actions as needed.

8) Autopriest: This game runs with autopriest, so a player’s role will be revealed after their demise.

9) Have fun, make memes, take the piss and try to enjoy the game. Don’t look in grey areas not covered by these rules for any advantages and try to make the game enjoyable for all. This is an anonymous game so please don’t post in the thread under your real boards identity if you can help it, and if you do please quote the post with your anon account so players can associate the post with the correct account.
